I've looked through the "show your setup" threads and I've never seen anything that looks like these sonic screwdriver parts.

The tank which I'm interested in:
E2 eGo Clearomizer Tank [EGOE2CLEAROTANK] - $12.99 :
The battery, which I'm not as I am not Dr. Who:
eGo E2 650mAh Battery [EGOE2BATT650] - $14.99 :

Does anyone know about these? I'd think that unless the tank had major flaws that someone here would own one. I'm guessing that black tip can be replaced with a different one also.

Thanks, guys.

Ha, I search and I will find...though it was google and not the search here:

And then the actual manufacturer site, which lets us know it's a 2ml...big ol thing for a 2ml.
EGO-E2 Clearomizers E cigarette (6ml Clearomizer), EGO-E2 clearomizer, Clearomizer.

Now...from the goodejuice site, we have them saying that these replacement cartos are for the E2 OOONNLYYY. Is that legit?

And a little discussion on this part of the show your own thread, which just goes to show you that I haven't been all teh way through it: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/225727-pictures-your-setup-431.html

I was just at their store on Saturday and bought that tank. I think I am a little "special" as I have issues getting the center post seated correctly. First fill it was leaky and gurgley. Took it apart, tried again. Second fill was perfect. Third fill I changed nothing and it is leaky and gurgley again (not as bad as the first fill though).

That second fill was truly awesome. Perhaps if I can lose a little of my specialness...

After watching a few youtube vids, I'm wondering if you took the silicone thingy off the top of the carto, or didn't screw the bottom of it in tight. Since most tanks don't have the base screw in, I'm just guessing.

I'll probably order one next Friday, payday. My wife might start freaking out if the purchases, though small, start being at non-purchasing times of the pay period.

Edited to add: One dude did have gurgly all the time. One dude didn't in the vids. I think knowing before hand there's gurgle, I'll be content.

Mine went into the trash after 1 week of use.

If you buy one, buy extra tanks and center sections, you will need them.

The upper and lower threads are just press fitted into the tank and come loose pretty quickly. They are super easy to burn the wick on since the silicon top cap is so easy to push down while refilling, and the center shaft will likewise come apart from the base requiring you to disassemble the whole tank in order to reseat it.

I threw mine away and am using ce3's with bottom coils now. No fiddling, no wicking issues. Yes I have to refill them more often, but you get 5 in a pack and they just work.

Trust me you aren't special in having issues with the clearomizers. I despise those little tanks, used the ones I had as target practice. A PBusardo Rant & Review - Vision eGo Clearomizer V3 (long wick) - SnG Vapor - YouTube This review cracks me up because its so true

I have owned this setup long before they begain selling in the US market.
You have to have common sense in order to use it without it failing, in other words there is a learning curve.
Most people are not used to threaded atties, this is basicaly a rebuildable setup and it is very good.
It will leak if you do not tighten the atty down tight enough, I use forceps for this and it works great.
Once you have learned how to (Properly) seat the atty and tighten it down, you will not have leaking issues.
It is a great system and so far the (Best) that I have tested over alot of other products.
The battery is no different from any other 650mah aside from its shape and lit rings.
I do not mean to bash other users here but "Underwhelmed" gave a bad review off of limited knowledge.
He threw away a good system because he didn't possess the patients to learn how to properly operate the setup.
I am here to say that it is one of the best tank systems that I have tried to date, and I've been testing
vaper systems for 4 + years.

Uh, no, I gave my experience with it. The version I received was version 1 on wich the atty was not threaded, the atty just snap fitted in place on the base.

I didn't have the battery, just the tank. I bought 2 of them and replacement attys and both tanks leaked after the lower threaded sections separated from the tank. They also gurgled and were overall not a good user experience.

There are several threads here with other people trying to fix the issues they had with these, from gurgling, leaking, and burnt taste from the silicon cap.

I have yet to see any user instructions for these tanks, other than what users here have tried, learnt and posted, so I'm not sure how anyone would know how to "Properly" set this up.

They do look cool though, that's why I bought them.

These are the same as the Apollo tank, and Excalibur, they look cool, but work pretty hit and miss, mostly miss for me. I did do a fix on mine and replaced the short wick on top with 4 longer CE4 wicks, took of the coil first and I got a full day of good vape out of it, now it is not working right. So not impressed with these. bnrk

That is hysterical! I love the PBusardo head wicks- LOL I am the same, love the concept of wicks and clearos but they ALL let me down, hate that dry hit nasty burnt taste, yuck. I keep trying them, but so far have not found a perfect one. bnrk
