I received the iClear 30 clearos I had ordered in the mail today. I transferred the remainder of the violet, pistachio, peer, raspberry, apple, menthol and cigar flavored juices I had left in my CE5 clearos, and after a little breaking-in, finally my juices tasted of violet, pistachio, peer, raspberry, apple and menthol. Imagine that! The pistachio-flavored juice even started giving off a pleasant peanut-like aftertaste, instead of that atrocious chemical fake ice-cream pistachio flavor.

No more leaks, no more thinning out the liquid to get it to wick up the clearo, no more burnt taste, no more messing about. I'm so down with CE5 clearos. These things suck pond water from the bottom. Stay away from the hateful things at all cost is my advice...

Before fully stocking up on any one type of tank I'd recommend trying a variety of types. Assuming one has only tried a ce5 type - Try any type of bottom coil. Try any type of dual coil since you could compare a ce5 to the iclear 30 (or iclear 30s) or a single coil bottom to a 30b.

But more so, try devices that are more varied. Try a cheap dripper and a cheap carto-tank. I was noticing some of the people who have been experimenting a long time seem to gravitate to that combo so I tried both. I get it now. Drip at home and carto-tank anywhere else.

Even so, taste is subjective so still try the different clearos for the same juice. I know one of my favorite liquids is great when dripping but not so much in an evod. It isn't that evod mutes the flavor, just different elements are stronger (it is a complex mix that includes chocolate which doesn't come through well in any clearo type or carto).

Is this what you purchased? If so I'll have to find some in stock. I'm in the market for some new toppers. Innokin iClear 30s Clearomizer Tank Dual Coil Or was it the 30b?

I got the plain-jane iClear 30, not the 30s: I'm under the impression that they're pretty much the same thing, aside from packaging, and I happen to reuse the plastic box the 30 comes in to store my juice bottles. As for the 30b, it's a bottom coil device, and I much prefer top coils because I loooove hot vape - the hotter the better.

Well, there's a good reason why I bought 5 of them: I got them from a store I had to cycle 60 miles to get to. So given the effort I expended to get there, I bought 5 rightaway to make the trip worth it. I gambled on the 5 clearos turning out okay and that I wouldn't have to order 5 of another kind. I lost :)

But more so, try devices that are more varied.

That's what I did: I bought 5 CE5s at the store, but also a bunch of other clearos and atomizers of different kinds - one of each - to try out, including one iClear 30 that I ended up liking enough to order more of. I also got a Vivi Nova that I'm not fully convinced with yet, but which does deliver a really hot vape, something the iClear 30 can't do because the tip is metal and the coils a bit too far down.

Even so, taste is subjective so still try the different clearos for the same juice.

Indeed you're right: I have this great apple-flavored juice that turns into a drop-dead flavorful vapor in the dedicated iClear 10b clearo I use to vape it with my iTaste VV v3, but not so great in the iClear 30.

But I also remember that it took that particular iClear 10b with that particular juice a good 3 weeks to develop that fantastic vape. Before that, the vapor tasted of butter with a faint apple odor. Now it's just to die for. It's almost as if the juice needed to fully "impregnate" the tank to truly deliver - kind of like whisky needs finishing in an oak cask to become truly great.

The iClear 30 I dedicated to that particular juice hasn't run more than 2 tankfuls of it yet, so I bet it'll get better over time. Same thing for the iClear 30s I dedicated to the other flavor juices I like: they're good, and I'm fairly sure they'll get better, and even a lot better.

Conversely, I have this menthol juice that's good in the iClear 10b, but a lot more powerful in the iClear 30, simply because the vapor out of the 30 is so much thicker.

I'll see how the iClear 30's perform in the long run, but so far they're off to a good start. The CE5's on the other hand sucked from the get-go and kept on trying to anger me as much as they could until I got enough of their shenanigans.
