If you are referring to my comment about me bringing the turtles home; I do not keep them I set them free outside and they all have went into the woods, and some have come back every now and then. I do not want you to think I am hoarding turtles in my house! Lol [emoji12]
After my bird I had for 15 years (he was 2 to 4 years old when I got him) passed away I will never get another one for the same reason. At least mine was able to come out of his cage.....because there are many birds that are abused and never get to come out of their cage. My parents never wanted a bird due to the same reason, but Tweety was mistreated and abused by his former owners and my parents could not say no.
Tweety had some problems from where he was mistreated, but for some reason he trusted me and he did really well with me. He could be pretty grumpy to some people, my bf called him a little ball of hate lol, but I still loved him!
He was so funny! He would whistle Andy Griffith amd look at himself in the mirror and say pretty over and over or pretty boy, pretty bird, and he would say "look at me" lol He also whistled at people sometimes when they would walk by. Lol
I have "known" you on ECF for quite a while now, and seen how much you love and care for animals, and knew you were just moving them to a safer place.

I grew up with little dogs, and some of mine did not like to get their paws wet either. If it was raining, it was even harder to get them to go out! Lol
