Hello everyone and welcome to my first liquid review here on ECF.
This product was bought with my own money and I paid full retail, (well, not counting the coupon code i found on google.)
I used a fully charged 510 battery and my 510 passthrough with an older atty i've been milking for a couple of months because I'm a cheapskate and an almost new atty, once again because i'm a cheapskate and didn't want to bust open a brand new one on some unknown juice lol! (actually because it's broken in nicely and vaping perfectly at the moment)
both attys were blown out and i vaped the 0mg, zero flavor pg/vg mix that comes from Cignot through them until the was no flavor left in either one. (you know the drill if you have ever used this method to get rid of old flavors, 4 drops heat and blow out then again and again until it's clean)
I got this in the mail after coming home from work last night around 9 p.m.and have spent the last 24 hours vaping this juice exclusively to try and get a handle on the flavor.
Ok, now that that is outta the way on to the review.
First off the packaging is pretty slick, think of an improved version of the Johnson Creek glass bottles in blue with an integrated dropper safety cap combo thingy. Impressive if for no other reason than you get both the positives of a dropper and a safety cap all in one and you are not pitching the safety cap in the trash, also interesting and pehaps useful to ummm, i don't know, maybe somebody is that the is dropper itself has milliliter divisions on the glass in .25/ml ,.50/ml, .75/ml and 1/ml segments. (actually i've been getting the DIY itch and i bet it comes in handy for that)
So how does it vape? I thought I had an idea of what it may be like from the website descriptions seeing as how words were thrown around like "urban cowboy" and "come to Halo Country" but there is more to this than some USA mix knockoff.
This is an amazingly complex flavor, the very very slight hint of the MLB flavor we all know mixed with smokey tobacco and vanilla tones is a very satisfying vape. To me there is also a slight hint of cedar in the scent and on the exhale which is very pleasant.
It is sweet on the tongue but there is no cloying sweetness or any poor aftertaste at all.
There is a smoothness to the throat hit that is difficult to describe. It seems to hit deeper in your lungs and rely more on the recipe than on the nicotine content which makes for zero harshness or throat burning that I have had in other juices.
The vapor production is just outstanding, this stuff makes plumes of vapor.
Ok, enough with all the gushing with positives like a high school girl talking about sparkly vampires, where are the problems?
Well, I would like to see the company sell in different sizes, 30ml was my only option and I was pretty worried I was going to be stuck with something I didn't like and had there been a 15 ml option i probably would have tried two different flavors instead of one.
I expected an ingredients list and it was not there but perhaps I should not have been surprised seeing how the unique taste of this liquid screams SEVEN SECRET HERBS AND SPICES at me.
Additionally I really don't know if this liquid is what folks on the ECF would label as the coveted "all day vape" title that I see used so often. I personally think for myself it is, but seriously ECFerrs (hehe) This liquid is not a traditional liquid and it's really difficult to throw in into any traditional category.
One more small note and I will get out of here, this juice really shows off the weakness of an atomizer that is past it's prime, the difference was like night and day between the two.
It's actually made me question why I bother trying to get those last few vapes out of my old equipment.
If you do give freedom juice a shot do it right and break out a new atty.
So the verdict? Try this liquid, The fantastic throat hit and uniqueness of the flavor is something you need to try for yourself.
Thanks for reading and thanks to the guys over at Halo for bringing something original to the market because that's always a gamble.
