Got my first batch of flavors from Freedomsmokeusa.com today;

Max/Boro
New/Port
Apple
Clove
Wyatt Earp
Watermelon
Hopscotch

I really enjoy the hopscotch.

The tobacco ones (Max, New, Earp) all have a very peppery finish to them. Is this consistent with all the FSUSA tobacco flavors, or is this just a product of them needing some time to relax?

Thanks

Ive found most tobacco flavors to be peppery. I think the mixers believe it adds the TH we are looking for. Im not a big fan of peppery juice.

so you'll taste more of it if you've ordered in high nic levels, too.

Im too new to this to say you're wrong, but I was under the assumption it was a flavor additive. I vape alot of 36mg juice ( trying to get down to 24mgs ) and very few have that peppery taste to them. Only the tobacco flavors I have purchased.

What's funny is that I don't vape a lot of tobacco, but oddly in those two that I have tried, I didn't notice any of that peppery taste at all. But both of those probably had a chance to settle/steep a bit, since my husband vapes their RY4 nonstop (nothing else for him) and the other was a sampler of American Spirit.

I've definitely noticed that peppery kick in cherry cola (which was a 36mg) and something else that escapes my memory at the moment. Now, however I don't taste it at all in the cherry cola.

I think what has me convinced it's the nicotine and not a flavor is that it tastes exactly like the nicotine gum I have once it's released the nicotine, and gives me the same tingly/almost scratchy feeling in my throat.

At any rate, whether it's the nic or a flavoring, it will settle down. That reminds me, though - did you buy samplers or larger bottles?

Give them a week or so to age, and you'll be ordering more.....

Not necessarily. I found that they never got better, even after letting them age two months.

I really couldn't tell you if the sweet stuff gets better with age because it never lasts long enough. It goes from the mailbox into my attie and is good right from the start.

Pepper and alcohol are the two ingredients that are added to produce throat hit. If you like a smooth tobacco flavor, try Dekang 555 (3&5) in VG. You get lots of vapor, good taste, and very mild throat hit. If you want more throat hit, order some 555 in straight PG and experiment with the PG based 555 as an additive.

As a previous poster said, wait a week or two and try them again. Shake daily. They will mix and mellow. It's a molecular thing.

Did you order juices that had a mix option? If so, what mix did you specify? Higher on the VG side is probably what you would like. Try 50/50 or 30/70 PG/VG in sample sizes. FS USA is good juice, you just need to find your best mix.

I like the FS Maxboro quite a bit, as well as the FY4. The Wyatt Earp I got was a sample and it was too strong. I use it to brighten up other bland juices.

I got 80/20. I really hope it mellows. I have heard a ton of good things about FSUSA, but as of right now I'm pretty disappointed. Hopefully it will improve.

I tried for some freedom smoke USA mix and the first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was that strong pepper taste it turned me off right away . I buy dekang 24mg USA mix and never get that smell so it doesn't seem that the nicotine is causing it maybe it's just part of the flavoring . I've had it a month and half and that smell isn't going away I guess I'll just stick with the Chinese juice because their marlboro has beat any USA made juice I've purchased and I really hate saying that .
