@Tonee N - I have NO idea how I managed to mess up the claptons that came with the tank but I did, so have to make some now to use the rda deck. I know they were 3 mm but I have no idea what the wire was, aside was the fact that it was clapton wire. Maybe I can dig one out of the trash and cut it open to see what is inside. LOL

I have some Demon Killer pre-made coils - I ordered only wire from AVS. I am sure a couple of the Demon coils would work. I did clean off the Claptons that came with the atty and pushed the wires back together. I will figure out something that works.
For a small monthly fee I would be more than happy to have Letitia make them for you.[emoji16]

LMAO - you all crack me up! I will make the
coils. I just need to figure out what kind of wire to buy. I have some that will work and some of my prebuilt coils will work. The prebuilt coils are all Kanthal and I want stainless steel. I might have to learn to make my own Clapton wire but we will wait on that. 
I will keep it simple for now. I can make the prettiest little fused Clapton SS 316L coil you have ever seen but I want to do some with ribbon wire. That will be next. LOLMaking wire is easy. Power drill, a part from a fishing department store, and a pair if needle nose pliers.

You are way ahead of me. LOL I have a power drill and needle nose pliers. We don't fish at my house, so what part would I need from the fishing department?

It's a barrel bearing piece the attaches lures. Once you use the drill and make the flat core the bearing will let you spin the entire core to wrap your smaller gauge around it.

Very interested in this atty but hows the black paint on this one? does it chip easily? So tired of atty's looking like crap after a few months...
Are you referring to the black resin or the painted black stainless steel atty? The resin might chip if dropped on a hard surface but I haven't read any complaints about that. As for the painted metal, perhaps someone has experience with those. I have a gold one on order but don't own anything except the resin yet.

Have you considered the black resin? I have it on order thinking that it will match black mods, gold mods, and probably a few others as well. There are so many painted black attys out there. I sound like a salesperson.

The metal champagne might look good on blue and small scratches would not be so noticeable.
Freemax usually does nice finishes but don't have the black to confirm. Now you all have me thinking of getting a black resin Fireluke. .....lol....enablers
