Hello again everyone todays review is on a kit from the fine folks of Freemax, it is the big brother in the Maxus lineup ( MAXUS 100W & MAXUS 200W KITS ). If you haven't seen the review of the Maxus 100 here's the link for that review FREEMAX MAXUS 100W KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322. As earlier said the Maxus 200 is the big brother, with the Maxus 100 being a single 21700, 20700 or 18650 device and the Maxus 200 being a duel 18650 device. As the name implies this device is capable of a max wattage of 200 watts. As always lets get to know the Maxus 200 Kit a little more before the review.

INITIAL REACTION AFTER OPENING
I have always been impressed with Freemax in the past because of the great flavor producing Tanks and Coils for those Tanks, then they started to make tube styled devices that also were very nice but no box styled devices until the Maxus 100 and 200 were launched.
When I opened up the shipping box it contained both of the Maxus kits, seeing the box cover with the colored resin panel I thought this is a different look. I wasn't quite sure if I liked the many resin colors of either device until I picked them up and felt the solid well built feel of quality and weight. This picture is of both devices next to one another after opening.
The Maxus 200 device has only one panel that is colored resin with the other side being a plain black with diagonal lines and Freemax branding at the bottom.
The battery cover panel is held in place with 2 very strong magnets located at the top and bottom of the colored panel.
The 510 pin is box shaped instead of the usual round and the 510 plate has groove cutouts for anyone using a tank that gets it's air supply from the 510 which is rarely seen today , very nice of Freemax to include it plus even though your Tank sits on top covering the 510 top plate when removed it's a nice attractive look for the top plate. It is also raised up a hair to prevent scratches from a tank.
The device has a small groove along with 5 venting holes located on the bottom of the device to assist you when removing the battery panel.
The OLED display screen is well laid out with all the information that you need, buttons are of a square design and appear to be metal with just the right amount of pressure needed to be activated. The Maxus 200 uses a Type-C 2 amp charging port that is located at the bottom of the screen.
THE MAXUS 200 MENU SYSTEM
* 5 Presses of the power button turns the device on or off
* Once on 3 presses of the power button opens up the menu of MODE, SET, INFO, EXIT
* Pressing the up or down buttons moves you along to your desired setting, once there a press of the power button puts you in that setting and the sub-menu opens up for more adjustment to be made using the up and down buttons, once finished with your adjustments move along to exit, press exit to leave the menu ( VERY SIMPLE EASY MENU )
SMARTLOAD TECH ( STAR FEATURE OF THE MAXUS 200 )
The Maxus 200 has a feature that allows you to load your batteries in any polarity position you want, so no more having to look for polarity markings, load your batteries any way you want, and the Maxus 200 will even work with one battery loaded in channel #1 and give you 80 watts on one battery, you must use channel 1 though. These 2 features alone make this device a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10. (UNBELIEVABLE )
FREEMAX M PRO 2 TANK
The Mesh Pro 2 Tank is the upgrade to the fantastic Mesh Pro and has a bit of a new look to it , more of a bold I mean business type of look in my opinion with flavor that's so good you would swear your eating what your vaping. I always love to vape fruit flavors in my Mesh Pro so I pulled out some Peach Cobbler, primed the 0.2Ω coil and filled the M Pro 2 up waited 5 minutes, had a vape and the flavor that I know and love came out. There was little to no break in time with these coils. As I said earlier Freemax is well known for flavor and the M Pro 2 keeps the streak alive.

THOUGHTS AFTER USING THE MAXUS 200 KIT
Well folks I have to say that this is a real joy to use without one problem arising from the long time I've had the pleasure using both the device and tank. I knew the M Pro 2 had a very good chance of being a flavor monster such as it's predecessor the Mesh Pro which I still use and still love for my fruit juices and it didn't skip a beat in producing flavor so great you would swear your eating it.
I have been using the duel coil 0.2Ω at below best settings 52 watts is doing it for me. Air lovers will be happy because you can breathe through it but also drop your wattage and close her down for a little tighter of a vape. The only negative with the Tank is the top cap should open a hair more to get to the fill port, it fills fine with no mess but if the top cap slide back just a hair more filling would be easier.
Now on to the star of the show the Maxus 200 has been flawless, I mean battery panel has no movement , screen has no glitches, it fires every time, fast instant ramp up and the resin panel gives it a unique look and a matching tank to top it off.
The feature that Freemax calls Smartload Tech just leaves me in amazement and the feature of the ability to use one battery if needed ( 80 watts max ) really hits the high note. The menu system is so easy to navigate and the buttons are quick with no lag time at all. I don't have scopes or measuring tools but all wattage settings seem to be on point.
As far as TC goes I can't give you a review on the metals because I only vape wattage modes but as I said earlier I have had the Maxus 200 for a very long time and have tried many different tanks and drippers with different builds and the Maxus 200 readings were dead accurate on all builds.
This statement is for Freemax themselves, for your first run at building true box mods being the Maxus 100 and Maxus 200 you not only hit a home run but a GRAND SLAM ALSO. I tried everything to find a flaw with this or the 100 and I came up empty. Well done Freemax very well done.
Alright folks I've gushed on this kit enough time to bring it to a end. If your looking for a flawless device in wattage mode and want a flavor tank that scores a 15 in a scale of 1 to 10 get the Maxus 200 kit, want something a little smaller get the Maxus 100 Kit. You will be very happy you did.
I would like to thanks Tina, Linda, Jerry and Freemax for providing the Maxus Kit for review. I hope this review helped anyone thinking about purchasing the Maxus 200 Kit
THANK YOU
