THanks cjpeltz for the tip. I was unsure of which way to turn that valve (on or off) because I wasn't sure initially if it was referring to the valve or the tank being on so I checked out the manual and recommend anyone else that buys it does the same.
I am also having an issue that, despite setting my resistance when the coil is cold on my IPV4 and also using the tank properly on my DNA200 device, the coils are burning. I am on coil three after like four or less days now and I noticed the first two (that came with the device) were a bit burnt on the top when I took them out. I got a dry hit on the second coil, the .25 and the coils are also reading at least .02 ohm higher on both devices than they are rated at. This third coil has been a bit better but is also a bit singed. I am thinking that the device is leaking into the bottom chamber where the coil touches the inside of the 510 pin and that may be affecting the connection, because I don't know what else it could be.
I was told that there was a batch that are a bit leaky and might have a few other issues by customer service at Vape Royalty. Jake, a customer service rep there, has been amazing and has offered to send me a new Freemax starre pro with a box with paid shipping to send back the old tank once they receive the new ones. I just wanted to let everyone know about the issue with some of the initial batch of
tanks, but more importantly relay my
excellent experience with Vape Royalty as a vendor for standing behind their product, working with the manufacturer, and fixing this situation in the best, least intrusive way for me.
Also to answer my own question, I don't think lining up the juice inlets with the chimney holes is necessary (or maybe even possible). Then again, who knows, that might be part of the issue along with the leaking.
