Do I need to wait for 81 supplier's sections to load? Or see the list of 300+ people online? Or wait for that jumbo header of forum announcements? No, no, and no. But I have to.

I have cable internet and still have to wait a while for the page to finish loading. Even when trying to scroll down it tasks my cache. Can it be tidied up a bit? Like put the 81 suppliers in their own "Supplier Forum" or something? Or get rid of the monolithic announcements?

I know that this is the most popular site of e-cigs, and probably getting bigger, but can it be organized more broadly? For the sake of my bandwidth and yours, lol.

click the little "X"s in the corners of the announcements, that'll solve most of your problems right there =)

You have to be signed in to have that feature. If I'm just browsing, I'm not signed in. Also, that will put a small dent in the scrolling and loading problems. That's just one of many problems.

^granted. if you would like to stay signed in to prevent those from popping back up, click the little "stay signed in" or "remember me" (don't remember what it says, i choose to stay signed in myself) button near the log-in feature at the top. your other points i will not address but maybe they are points worth being addressed by one of the forum guys, so i'll stay out of it and let them do their thing from here.

Yes - this is an entirely valid point. Important, as it goes - the front page of a site should load very fast indeed, if you can arrange it.

There is no way to do that with a huge forum, so we are soon going to change the front page entirely. The forum index (the current front page) will be 'page 2'. So you are right, and we agree with you. It was going to be done a while back but a bunch of other things got in the way (upgrading the forum and servers).
