So I'm noticing a pattern. I've got one friend interested in e-cigs and every time he comes over hes just vaping away my e-cig. At first I didn't care because I wanted him to be educated and try it out.... but it seems to be too much of a coincidence that every time he leaves, my atty gets this burnt after taste and I think he killed them :-x Not a happy camper at all. I don't have money to keep paying for freaking attys! I keep telling him its not like a analog you can't just keep puffing away.... grr.

Anybody got some horror stories with showing their friends your e-cig?

cincy, oh
At least he left your battery.

I had a friend over about a month ago and like most smokers I know, he was interested. I loaded him up a 510 with camel and menthol and told him he was welcome to use it as much as he wanted while he was here.

Fun night, lots of laughs (and drinks).

Wake up the next day to discover he took the 510 with him. The battery had to be close to dead, couldn't have had much juice left in it, and since he doesn't vape no charger for it.

At first I just figured he was finishing it off or it accidentally made it into one of his pockets. But, it's been a month and he hasn't mentioned it at all. I'm not the type of person to call him out on it, but next time he came over and anytime in the future I will not offer a pv to him.

His loss... I am a very generous person until I'm taken advantage of.

If I were you, I just wouldn't offer a pv to your friend next time. If he asks, just tell him you can't afford another atty if he burns out another.

Yea we usually just sit around and talk, and drink with my guy and a few other friends.... but we always keep the e-cigs with us before we go to bed.

Like you, I'm a generous person, I give chances but walk on me then I'm done.

Have you thought about buying them one for christmas, Truesmoker.com has a phoenix for 25 bucks, cheap and it hot. Then when they burn an atty you can explain to them how to smoke proper. It's a nice deal and might get one more off of smoking and on to vaping.

If I even have that much to spare on my check then I'll try that. I'm sort of dealing with being the only provider while my guy needs to get off his .... and job hunt.... I would like to get some 24mg e-juice but I can't do that with a bill so freakin high....

*breath in, breath out* <-- fustrated Ashley

But thank's Chef for the heads up anyways. At least I know a few people that are interested in them.

sadly when I have let others try my pv they make me cringe like letting a new driver borrow your car or bike. Want them to like and learn how it works but its painful sometimes. At least everyone who lets others try it can say to themselves "its for the greater good"

I feel the same way but at the same time I don't have spare attys and I'm not going to be a b!#*h and say "you owe me a new atty". That's just not me lol.

I don't let anyone use my pv...not even my husband. To me it's like sharing a tooth brush (yuck). I may be a bit ...., but that's just me. I have my old Npro pv if anyone expresses interest in trying it.
My husband offers his family members use of my pv, and I'm like WTF:confused::confused::confused:, Don't offer something that isn't yours!

lol too funny! I don't think I'll be letting anyone try my vp unless I have some cheapo cart that I wouldn't mind they use. I do have some pretty crappy vanilla from nhaler I wouldn't mind letting someone use. Either way, I suppose if I knew the person and I know they're clean, maybe I'd let them use my vp. But if they got sum pus filled herpes hangin off there lip, I'LL BE DAMNED IF YOUR COMMIN WITHIN 5 FEET OF MY VP! lol

When a smoker(friend or stranger) sees with vergin eyes an e cig in use for the first time, the expression on there face is priceless! I know exactly what there thinking..... WTF! If time permits ill tell my 30 second story on how many packs a day i use to smoke and what i spent a week or aday vs's now. then after a few questions....... I offer to let them try it! I always have a spair 510 just for such an occasion. I then hand them a bussiness card with my affilliate site address and thats it! 7 out of 10 who try it buy it! Its amazing! My ecig cost per month is ZERO and all i do use my ecig!
