From Juice to Juice

I'm hoping to be getting some new flavors in the mail today and am wondering what the best way is to go between different e-juices. I'll be cleaning the tank before loading it up, but do I need to change the atomizer head for each juice? Can I just replace the wick?

How do you pro's and more seasoned vapors cycle between juices?

Thanks!

Good Morning and Welcome to the Forums!

Depending on the flavors of juices, I don't have too much trouble simply putting a different juice in a previously used tank. HOWEVER - this is all at your taste's discretion. Since I vape a bit (o.k. A LOT) at work, I'll rinse my heads and my tanks between fills. The first couple hits after refill are warm and a tad bit watery, but not too bad. I do have a steady supply of tanks through which I rotate. If you think the flavor change is going to be too drastic, simply pop the used head (and rinse it well) and then pop in a new, clean(er) head.

I've been doing this for weeks, and only Tuesday did I get brave enough to dryburn my coils. I didn't need any tools (pair of tweezers would have been nice, but weren't 100% necessary) Even dryburned some of my "work" coils yesterday.

So, long-winded "non-answer", clean if you don't like the "mystery flavor" between juice changes. At least rinse and dry, if you'd like. Dry burn, if so motivated, or simply change heads (probably easiest, if you have the supplies at hand)

To sample new flavors before committing them to a tank, use a bridgeless 510 atty and a drip tip (510 Bridgeless Atomizer - Stainless - 1.8 ohm) Once you find out your loves/hates/ehs out of a new order then you can decide what to put in your protank(s).

To switch flavors once you have finished a flavor, if they are similar in flavor profile (cherry to strawberry or coffee to cinnamon roll for examples) you can just rinse everything with hot water and dry then put in the new flavor, or you can make a "suicide"(ya know like mixing fountain sodas together when you are a kid) by adding in a new flavor before the old one is all the way gone.

If you were switching between two VERY different flavors, then you may want to rinse with hot water and change the coil.

Hope this helps!

Mmmmmm.....Apple and Watermelon. Now those two will probably mix just fine together.

When you get some more diverse flavors, I second getting a dripping atomizer like an HH357. I just drip a little vodka into it and blow it out when changing/ tasting new flavors. This saves me the hastle of having to pour out a whole tank of something nasty.

If your only option right now is a tank, I would rinse and at least change the wicking element just to be safe (if you have a lifetime supply of cotton :))

That brings back the memories but in my neck of the woods we referred to it as swamp water. Some mixtures turned out pretty good. Other tasted like mud ;)

Sorry to ask such a simple question ( I apologize if you said it and I missed it...) but are you just rinsing it under the sink? Thanks in advance for your help. Still trying to figure things out haha
