Hey everyone! I just thought I'd take the time to introduce myself as I have just mustered up the courage to post here. I smoked analogs for close to seven years (it pains me to admit this!) and then transitioned to vaping after purchasing my first 510 starter kit. At first, the novelty totally drew me in and I was vaping my nic-free juice like crazy, but found myself craving the buzz that nicotine provided me with. As a result, I continued to smoke analog cigarettes in social situations but then traded that habit for flavoured cigarillos which I smoked less often, but knew were just as bad for me. I don't really smoke regular analogs anymore, but I never did shake the habit of smoking the cigarillos because I enjoy the flavour. I decided to join the forum because I am thinking about purchasing another setup that hopefully will provide me with what I need to kick the habit for good.

As for what didn't work for me - the 510 was nice at first, but my partner and I (who regularly smokes cigarillos now) quickly became disappointed with the short battery life, trouble managing the atomizer and lack of throat hit with the non-nic e-juice. We both kind of just went back to what we were used to doing, but both of us would like to try to get back into vaping as it is definitely the healthier choice. I was looking to purchase a Joye Ego with some nic e-juice which I'm hoping will do the trick. The other thing I was thinking about doing was trying nic-juice (if I can find someone to ship it to me in Canada!) in my functioning 510. If anyone has any other advice on a setup that would help me get back into the swing of things, please let me know and thank you all for taking a part in this awesome community! :)

The ePower is very good starter kit that's offered by Hoosier right now. It's about the size and price of an Ego/Riva/Kgo kit and it comes with cartos, which is the easiest way to vape, and non-proprietary batteries. The battery size will allow you to try lots of various bits and pieces to find your sweet spot. It also has 510 threading so you will be able to use any supplies you have from your original PV.

The kit does not contain nic so I don't think you will have any problems with customs (the way I understand your NHS), but verify this in the Canadian forum. Get a few more posts and after 5 posts and 1 hour, you will be able to post in the Canadian forum.

E-Power From Smok Tech and HECS

I think the main problem you had is that with 0 nic, you basically quit cold turkey. The PV will allow you to gradually decrease you nic if that's what you want.

And, before I forget, Welcome to ECF.

Thank you so much everyone for the warm welcome. It's nice to feel supported!

Halofan, I will be messaging you as soon as I am able to send PMs!

JuiceJunky, I hope so too, he is a little reluctant to go back to vaping but I am hoping I can lead by example!

Just keep on posting Misscinna and you'll be PMing in no time at all and I will keep an eye out for your PM,
Thank You and have a great evening
