Hello! I was so frustrated with my KR808 (Cig2O brand) last night that I almost drove to the gas station and got a pack of analogs at 11:30... crackhead hobos out front be damned .. i didn't care.
I have 4 808's and none of them are meeting my needs anymore. They are unreliable and have a pathetic throat hit IMO. I've cleaned the holes in the side, tried resetting them, blowing in them, throwing them.. okay I haven't purposely thrown one YET. My cartos are all screwed up too from filling frequently. BTW My name is Whitney and I'm a Vape-a-holic. So, I like full vapor production and I don't want to do the whole carto thing any longer. I've filled with syringes, condom method, and at first just dripping. I also tried flushing it with water via syringe and it barely helps. SO.. my point is. . I want to buy a new set up completely. The only thing holding me back is #1. Price, #2. Ignorance as to which one to buy that would meet my basic requirements. I want to hear from anyone and everyone who can help me out with this. I don't care if it's an Ego (what kind of Joye/Ego is best? Is there a site I should buy from?) I don't care if a clown pops out at the end of each drag.. if it's better I'd like to know about it. Also, where can I buy a kit that is 50 bucks or less? I'm fighting the urge to get some analogs. So I hope they can ship it rather quickly! Thanks in advance for listening to my rant and for any advice given.

Try the kGo kit from KGO kit1100mAh by SLB
Add a variety of cartos, and you'll be set for a while.
With the added cartos, you will go over your $50 budget, but it will last you for quite a while, and give you an idea of what you like so you can order more when you have the money, or prowl the classifieds & the deals/steals thread for great deals :)

Edited to add: Don't buy any cartos lower than 1.5ohm, or you risk shorting out your battery. Try the 1.5 DCC, 1.7 single coils, 2.0 DCC etc., and don't forget to buy at least one drip tip - the cartos will get hot, and you don't want to burn your lips!

Sounds like you need a Reo Grand/Mini... It's expensive but well worth the money. But for $50 to play with, an ego or kgo would do. KGO kit1100mAh by SLB and for Ego's there's a lot of vendors that sell those. Search around for the best price. BTW I don't use these types of ecigs anymore but these are the most popular.

My first Ecig was a 901. hated it. My 2nd was a Ego. I love my Ego Mega atty and cart. VAPOR VAPOR VAPOR AND MORE VAPOR. the regular atty is good to just smaller. not as much vapor but I do belive it gets more flavor. I work outside and refilling with filler can be somewhat of a pain more time constraint wise. Ordered from Cignot. very good support.

I am currently looking at getting a T Atomizer

50 bux or less will get you the Kgo or the Riva- both 3.7 volts and long batt life- here's a review

+1 for this choice. At this price it's hard to go wrong and it will still be a good backup if you do upgrade later.

Enjoy!

Ooh! I love the thought of being done with it. Any recommendations on a website? Thank you!
check apolloecigs.com, they are a vendor here and have the best price (I think) on them. I just bought a spare from health cabin for $39.99 for a full kit, but that sale is over. Personally I use a Provari, bought a KGO for travel. The KGO doesnt match up in terms of power, but has good battery life. The power that VV has to offer is unmatched by any 3.7 mod. Using a lower ohm cartomiser is sort of cheating the system and will reduce battery life, but is better than a KR808 any day of the week. I like having control over my vape...too weak, I just crank up the voltage....too strong, I turn it down....thats something the KGO cant do.

Have you thought about a 5v pass though? Maybe a box mod? Or even the Kgo/eGo. You could get a lavatube but if you want to go VV more affordably, a boxmod is a great way.

When I used an eGo Liberty-Flights.com was the vendor I always used. I still use them occasionally for some things. Their batteries come with a 2 month warranty. They also have their own re-branded LavaTube version that is very competitivly priced in comparison to a LT from volcano. The warrenty from Liberty Flights may not be the same as from volcano. Just read it carefully to find out. You can't use everything, such as duel coils on something like a lavatube. That may or may not matter for some people. I believe you can use just about anything on a box mod. If you use something low resistance on a box mod when it's on a high volt setting however you are asking for stuff to burn up.

Good luck finding your way! I'm sure almost anything will feel better than the analog look a like you find yourself using now.

I agree with Ghostrider, get yourself a kit like this from Vapor Aley.Variable voltage mod or look around, I'm not sure where the best deal may be for a Lavatube type kit but 60 bucks ai'nt bad imo. Then you'll need some carto's, personally I like ce2's in tanks, but they need a certain amount of fiddling also. I'd say get some clearomisers to start out ( 2.5-3ohm), and go from there. You'll definately be able to adjust to the TH you want.

I don't use poly filled carto's because I feel they mute flavor but If the reason you don't like them is the mess of dealing them maybe something like this setup from MyFreedomSmokes would help. The Plunger Kit - MyFreedomSmokes.com

I'm not going to tell you what to buy but I can tell you what I went through since July. I first had a Blu, then I found volcanoecigs.com. I bought a Volcano from them since they had blank cartomizers available (their version of the Blu), it still didn't do it for me so I upgraded to their Inferno kit. It's essentially 2 ego batteries and other things to get you started. I used this successfully until I bought their Variable voltage unit (LavaTube) in January. Both the Inferno and Lavatube were great, gave me plenty of vapor, flavor and throat hit. I just recently acquired a Provari and I'm loving it! My recommendation would be to check out Volcano, they have great customer service and a great community if you have any questions regarding their products.

I have been very happy so far with my Volt X2 battery and the Volt X2 clearomizers from Smokeless Image. Much better vapor production, better taste and the batteries last all day. The clearomizers are easy to refill (no syringe needed) and hold more than standard cartos, plus you can see when you are running low, rather than waiting for that nasty burnt taste.

Vapoor eyes er;5794905]50 bux or less will get you the Kgo or the Riva- both 3.7 volts and long batt life.

I will "third" Vapoor's recommendation as the next step up and would add the E-Power 510 and the new EVO variable volt to these two recommendations. I believe that the Kgo, Riva and E-Power are all better recommendations than the eGo because they are 3.7 volts and the eGo is only 3.4 volts and you did say you wanted more throat hit. More volts, more throat hit (along with higher nicotine strength eliquid).

I like the Evo better than the Lavatube because with the lavatube you are limited as to what cartos/attys you can use. With dual coils it drops the voltage down to 3.3 volts, which is just a waste.

But if you really want long battery life, better throat hit and more consistency, then move up to a good 5 volt PV or a good variable volt or variable watt PV, such as the Darwin. The best 5 volt on the market is the GLV2. Here are some web sites to look at:

Kgo: KGO kit1100mAh by SLB

5 volt GLV2 (lifetime warranty): GLV-2 Electronic Cigarette [GLV-2] - $120.00 : Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

E-Power: E-Power 1050-2200mAh

Variable volt EVO: http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag...color_plus.tpl&product_id=1014&category_id=30

Good Luck

I really like the lava set, but I really am not sure about the cartomizers... I really just would rather do a tank system instead. I am on TIGCIG and found this.. 2012 New Arrival eGo-C "Tank" Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit with Five Atomizers
I feel like it really does meet the needs I'm looking for. How does their e-juice taste? I am nervous about buying from them if I don't know. Plus, they take Paypal and most of my money is on there since I have an online business.
