I've been using a silver bullet with a carto-tank @ 6v for over a year now. I've recently run into a horrendously terrible run of cartos that either do nothing or hit dry and harsh. I've always used the condom method to prime them, but lately I've resorted to doing that in addition to soaking them in my bottle for 24+ hours with almost no improvement. I end up having to drip into them and practically flood it to get an acceptable draw. I think they are boge cartos, based on the suppliers website, but they are sold to me without any packaging or engraved brand name at the brick and mortar location. Has anyone else had this issue lately?

I'm considering trying out one of these rebuildable tanks, but I have no experience and little knowledge of them. What are the pros and cons? The employee I spoke with seemed to think running them at six volts isn't ideal, which isn't an issue as I still have 3.7v batteries, but he didn't explain why. There seem to be a lot of people abandoning them and going back to carto-tanks. What is generally the reason for this? I have my eye on the Kanger Pro II. Is there anything I should know about that model in particular?

Any guidance you could provide is much appreciated!
