Frustrated with cartomizers

zI am also using Ego cartomizers from Cignot. I can get vapor but it burns a little and doesn't taste at all like the flavor I am using. I am using Cola Wow Vapor from Vapor 4 Life. I wonder if also the juice I chose isn't a good fit for me. I have an Ego also.
I'm using V4L coolcarts right now -- easy to pop off rubber cap. Tissue at the battery end, drip into the top, let it soak in. Cap back on and blow through it to clear juice in the atomizer section, wipe the battery contacts and you should be good to go for a couple hours at least.
Recently picked up a G400 -- 808 on steroids (900 mAh) -- with some of the 2 ml cartos, which also fit normal 808 auto batteries. Those beasts run a long time between refills. Refill on them is dripping into the bottom hole, the battery end.

I wonder if the problem was my batteries. Last I used them the carto got pretty hot. I am now using my passthrough and it works much better. I quit using the ego cartos and went back to carts and it works fine. Hmm.

you have a vapor king right? thats a kr808..so they should work, they fit the kr808 xl which is technically what you have

The juices I bought are just terrible. The cola tastes bad, and the Kamel is just yuck. The chocolate works fine. All of them are wow jucies. Here is what I really learned: I can't use the cola and the kamel in cartomizers. I have to use them with cartridges. When used with cartridges they don't taste great, but they upgraded from terrible.

ah that might just be it!! i will let you know how the cartos are. order them late last night. got shiped today
When I used the Vapor King cartomizers the wow (kamel and cola) juice burns my throat (might be a good throat hit ....maybe i don't like a good throat hit) and tastes terrible. When I used the Ego Cartomizers the same thing happened. When I used the juice with my ego cartridge it didn't burn or taste terrible. My guess is the learning curve probably $25 bucks or more in wasted stuff. Once I have this down I shouldn't be wasting much money.

So for everyone with cartomizers burning and needing them to last a few days extra (without the burnt taste) this might work. I mentioned in a post earlier in here about taking the stuffing out and cutting the burned piece of the wick out and I finally got around to doing it. Not the greatest thing in the world but could come in handy sometime when things get tough. I'm uploading it right now so I'll post the link soon. Also, I should probably note that I didn't give the liquid time to sit and absorb when I tried it out (got a little greedy I guess). I'm hoping it will help a few people, although I understand this is not a super universal need. Lol.

i just order the KR808D-1 PREMIUM Blank Soft Cap Cartomizers last night. i will let you know how they work
I've experienced the same problems with the 510 cartos. Last week I ordered some 801 cartos from Madvapes ( along with some 510 battery adapters) and they are great. They are larger than the 510's (they hold 40 drops) and are seamless. I've used the same one for 9 days with no loss of flavor or leakage (to fill,remove the flat mouthpiece and drip down the side). I use a 5v PT and my Ego. The vapor and throat hit is amazing. They go for 2.49 and imho they are worth it.
