I have a few questions regarding this brand e-cig. I assume it was quite expensive for the quality, but hey, got it on discount through a friend who works at a cig store... I have searched for the model number and found only one post on this forum regarding this particular model number. Anyway, the e-cig is a battery and an atomizer cartridge. I charged the e-cig all day yesterday, and thought it was weird that the LED on the included USB charger kept flickering from red to green, to red, etc. I didn't pay it any attention as the green tip on the battery stayed a constant green, which meant charging.

I woke up this morning to both the charger and the tip of the battery glowing a steady green. After unplugging the unit from the wall, I unscrewed the unit from the charger, and screwed in the atomizer. I was able to use it for about 30 minutes, it was very pleasant.

I picked it up after eating breakfast, went to take a hit, and instead of the normal green light at the tip mimicking the real fire, I saw three blinks, then nothing...no smoke, nothing. I try again, same thing. I quickly flip through the very thin instruction manual and the troubleshooter says to discard atomizer, allow battery to charge for 10 seconds(to reset temporary short circuit), then use a new atomizer. That didn't work(more on this in a sec), still three blinks.

I take the atomizer off and carefully take a drag without the atomizer.. it works fine. just as it is supposed to. I take the brand new atomizer I opened, and began threading it and trying it. Up until the center pieces of the atomizer and the battery contact, the battery works fine. Light drag produces dim green glow, regular drag produces steady green, everything normal. As soon as contact is made though, three blinks.

I screwed the battery into the charger again. When I plugged the charger into the wall, the battery blinked 3 times, then went dead. Charger had a constant green light. The charger did this when I plugged it in the first time, but I assumed it was because of the short circuit protection... Either way, I obviously (A. didn't reset the short circuit protection correctly) or (B. got a defective e-cig)

I hope for A, as I am almost an hour from the store which I bought my product, and will be quite busy for a few days :(

Thanks!

Ok, I fiddled a little more with the charger and when I screw the battery into the charger I now get a constant red light, which means charging, according to the instruction manual. When I plug the charger into the wall adapter, the tip glows green, which means charging, and the adapter shows a red light, which also means charging. Might I be on my way to my first 12 hour charge? Would I be able to take it off after a while just to check, then immediately put it back on charge?....just to know if I have a defective unit or not?

Just picked up a FS210TA today and was wondering if this thing is charging right or not, seems like lordcheeto was having problems also. The light on the charger is red and the light on the USB adapter is green. The batt. tip blinked 3 times when plugging it in but now its out. Tried another Atomizer and worked for a couple of puffs then nothing,no light on tip while inhaling.

Thanks for any help,, I'm lightin one up in the meantime

i don't know if the battery i got was faulty or what was wrong, but i took it back to the store i bought it from and they gave me a replacement battery/charger/all. i was not very impressed with that particular e-cig, although the included green-cig cartomizers, imo, have a good taste, even when re-filling with e-liquids from other places. i just keep that particular battery around in case my kr808's die on me :)

but to answer your question, i believe the green light on the charger means it is in the charging mode. the light on the USB adapter should be red when charging. i noticed, even with the new set-up, it would not act right when plugged into a computer (xbox, anything with a usb port) but when plugged into the wall it works right.

Still no luck, been charging for about 4 hrs. today and maybe 5-6 yesterday turned it off during the night, didn't want to overcharge or whatever. Might give it a few more hours and then I'm bringing it back. Oh,found out the USB green light comes on without even having the batt. plugged in. Maybe its just a bad charger. How is the KR808 brand ?? I've about had it with this thing:evil:

Brought it back Tues. and they gave me a new batt. (charged) lasted OK for a couple of days and when the batt. died it still wouldn't charge.Brought it back today (Sat.) and turned up to be a bad USB Adapt. Red light came on when I plugged it in,shows charging.Couple of hours later it was OK. Guess I just had a bad box. Think I might look for another brand ?? Thanks for your help.
