I placed an order at both and will provide a review once I receive the order (mostly tobacco flavors only), but can someone explain the process of steeping liquid? Is this necessary? I hear some people do and some don't.
Well steeping does a couple of things.
1. Oxydation: If you leave a cap off for a couple of days, or shake the bottle up to let the air in the bottle mix with the juice, oxygen will interact chemically with the nicotine, and and the flavoring. This can alter the taste over longer periods of time.
2. "Melding": This is where flavorings interact with each other and the oxygen. This can also alter the taste over longer periods of time.
It is really a bit of a random chemical dance. Some juices benefit from steeping, others taste the same all the time. My main juice is great right out of the bottle, but give it 6 weeks on the shelf and it really becomes a deeper flavor.
There's another juice on my shelf that needs to be vaped in 8 weeks, or it just doesn't taste right.
So sometimes steeping helps, sometimes it doesn't, and in rare cases (my experience) it can make juice less than tasty.
Letting Dekang juice steep for instance (Or getting some old stuff) can really result in nasty juice.
