In my younger days, I drank and loved great beer. Fortunately here in the Pacific Northwest you can barely throw a rock without hitting a microbrewery that produces something wonderful. Unfortunately, there arrived a time in my life past which I could no longer drink beer or wine because doing so started triggering migraines in me. So I had to give up the delicious suds. (Liquor is fine and now I'm a bourbon man.)

With that background, I looked forward to FreedomSmokeUSA's Fat Tire. I stopped drinking beer before Fat Tire existed, so I can't say how close the juice is to the beer, but... yum!

First, I was surprised by it because it turns out the Fat Tire is tobacco flavored. At least, it tastes like it when the vapor first hits my palate. This isn't a bad thing, and it isn't the main flavor, but I didn't expect it. The beer flavor is there, too, and quite tasty.

The juice really shines on the exhale, though. BEER! Not just beer, but good beer! I swear that I can taste carbonation in there, but that's got to be my imagination, right? The best part of beer, for me, has always been the scent left in my mouth after I take a drink, and Fat Tire has captured this almost perfectly. Sparkly, slightly sweet, slightly alcoholic, just the right amount of hoppiness.

Despite a couple of weeks of resting, there is a slight perfume taste to the juice that I find annoying, but I get used to it after a vaping it a while and it no longer bothers me.

I'm very pleased with this juice. Now I can enjoy a beer, in a fashion, again. I'll have to try vaping this with a bourbon and see if I get a boilermaker.

Well how cool is this? A review posted of the liquid I'm vaping right now! I found the flavor to be better with the blue foam cart combo than with dripping. I still found myself wanting the flavor to be stronger. It does remind me of Fat Tire but I don't think I would have thought that's what it was if it weren't printed on the bottle. The hoppiness is there and FSUSA liquids always seem to make a good amount of vapor. This is one that I'll be setting aside but will come back to and see how it is doing. I'd like to see more attempts at combining beer flavors with a hint of tobacco. It seems like there would be a lot of possibilities and combining beer with tobacco, well that's a no-brainer for a successful combination.

Have any of the other FSUSA flavors tasted like perfume to you? I am curious because I am afraid to try this (though it sounds great, I love FatTire!) I don't want more perfume vape.

I've had two other FSUSA juices taste perfumey, but in both of those cases it went away after the juice sat for a week or so. I expect that this is true of Fat Tire as well, and it will be totally gone in another few days. In any case, it's just enough to notice, not enough to make it bad.

I wouldn't avoid FSUSA juices because of this. I'd just expect, at worst, to wait 1-2 weeks before using them.

I love beer. I really do. It's proof that god loves us.
I also love FSUSA. Their service is amazing. Their RY5 I consider to be the nectar of vaping. Their Espresso is pretty good too.
I bought a large bottle of their CumberMellon. Although it produces great vapor, there is a taste along with a throat and chest hit of something, maybe perfume, that I just cannot stand. Makes me want to wheeze and cough to get it out. I got a sample of their Licorice and it tastes exactly like CumberMellon. I'm vaping a sample of their Hypnotic Mist right now and although good, there is an under current of that same something. I can't put my finger on it but it is definitely there.

Off topic, Zal; have you tried beer or wine that comes out of a metal keg instead of a wooden one? I have heard that they don't cause migranes.

Most of the beer I've had wasn't from a wooden keg.

My mother has it worse than I -- she can't eat fresh bread. Since beer & bread are closely related, I'm guessing that it's something inherent in the drink.
