I'm not entirely positive, but do all tobacco liquids taste more like toffee/coffee?
Both Wyatt Earp and American Spirit from FSUSA taste more like a coffee-ish taste than anything that can be identified as tobacco. The Virginia from BWB I just loaded into my PT tasted better, but still has a coffee tang to it.
They're not bad flavors, at all. I'm just wondering if that's what most people get from "tobacco" liquids.
FSUSA's 99 Bananas, Banana Cream Pie, and Orange Creamcicle are delicious though.
Also: OP, why do you criticize a free sample for nic content? Sure, if FSUSA was smart they'd match nic levels. But a free sample? You don't like the nic content, then throw it away. Don't be silly.
Also, the whole wine metaphor was ridiculous.
1. Having more nicotine is less disastrous (given the quantity we're talking here) than more alcohol (in terms of effects and its relation to driving). If you've smoked for any decent length of time, a higher nicotine content is not going to kill you. At most you'll feel nauseous and dizzy for no more than 5 minutes.
I smoked hand rolled unfiltered for about 2 years, and I'd make some from people wanting to bum one off me and I never had a complaint that the nic was too much, in fact most people loved the higher nic.
I once bummed a girl (heavy smoker, mind you) a Skoal dip pouch, and she got a HUGE nic buzz, and even then she didn't feel bad enough to curse me for it.
There are only 3 times I've had a bad nic buzz. Twice from cigars. Once from the first time I ever inhaled smoke off a black and mild (disgusting)
2. FSUSA labels all bottles with their nic content. Your wine example, there was no identifying alcohol content.
If you're going to use hypothetical analogies, make sure they match the original.
In short:
FSUSA have quality liquids. I ordered 5, and got a free sample. None of them tasted bad or low quality.
