Since this is my first post I can't post this to the M40x forum, but I just wanted to tell that it is very easy to mod M401 PCC to fit fully assembled M402 or m403 cigarette. I have both Powerpal PCC and general E-vaporizer PCC and they are identical (leds vertically in front of the box).
My friend accidentally broke my Powerpal PCC so I had time to open it and fully investigate what's inside the box. I think it is actually possible to hold two fully e-cigs, but the first space is much more easy to do.
First you open the box and remove the piece of foam. It's not glued so just lift it away.
The right place for fully M-402 is the hole that is second from right and first on upper row when you open the box. This is the hole that holds the battery, but does not charge it. In bottom of this hole is just a little piece of foam that is about the size of empty M-401 cartridge. It is glued to the bottom of PCC. You can try to use drill on that hole it if you want. Or you can try to take it up with tweezers cause it may not be very tightly glued.
If you just can't get it to loose, you can open those two little screws that you see in either side of those holes. They are very tight and you need a tiny screwdriver. When you open those little screws a little bit, you get to pull the bottom of PCC little open. But DON'T pull the bottom fully open so that you don't accidentally rip off any wires! Just a little bit so that you can fit a paper knife, or similar blade inside the PCC and cut that piece of foam loose from the bottom. Then screw your PCC tight again and pull out the piece of from through that upper hole with tweezers or toothpick or something. That's it. The PCC can now hold a fully assembled 402/403 and you can still close it.
I think there is also space enough for a second fully 402 in hole that is first from left in upper row, but that's another story...
