I've never ordered from mt baker vapor, and recently I did. I was very happy with the promptness of the whole experience but, I have to say that all the liquids I got from them, three, all had a funky after/back taste. Almost like the base they use has a funny taste to it. I love the flavor, but then each one has the exact same aftertaste. It's just disappointing. Now, maybe all of their eliquids aren't like this, and I in no way want to bash them, but has anyone else had a similar experience?

I've only been vaping for a month, but I will say that to me, it sounds like they need to steep. I shake all of my juices daily, and steep them to get the best flavor. I have ordered from MVB, and the juices I purchased were much better after week 1, and even better after week 2. Some say steeping doesn't matter, so maybe it is just my imagination, but I personally believe if you can put them aside for a while, you'll love them!

I agree I was amazed with how quick they processed and shipped, and cost... I was anticipating them to be my go to vendor... Even got a nice sample with the order. But the juice just tasted wrong. Finish notes off... Something was wrong.... Can't place it but then you realize why the price point is so low. So many glowing reviews on ecf, maybe I'm the wrong one... But it's just not for me. Really wanted to like this vendor but moved on... Try fuzion or freedom smoke from Tucson AZ.

I've placed one order with MBV. They have great prices and fast shipping, but....I must agree with the others that tell about a weird taste. My first order was made with some extra shots, as I like and prefer extra flavor. They were all unvapeable to me. I notified MBV and they promptly sent me the juices I ordered with no extra shots. Still unvapeable. I've tried 12 different flavors and can't vape any of them. Have PIF'd and swapped most of them. Some others liked them, some felt the same as I did.

After talking to MBV and quite a few others that have tried their juice, I have come to the conclusion that it must be something with the PG they are using. I did try a 95% VG juice that was OK, but the rest that I tried at 80-70 PG were bleh to me.

Not every vendor is for everybody. I know it seems like the phrase is overused here, but taste really IS subjective. With that said, when I first tried MBV, I wasn't overly impressed either. I didn't note a weird aftertaste, but the 3 or 4 flavors I tried were "meh" and I found a better version at a different vendor. I had sadly chalked them up to not being for me, despite the great prices and stellar CS. Then a friend (who loves and swears by MBV exclusively) opened up a local shop so a bunch of us turned out for his opening day. For the heck of it while waiting my turn at the purchase counter, I tried some of the flavors at his juice bar. Some of them blew me away! So to make a long story short, I am now in love with about 15 MBV flavors that I will religiously order when I run out. (I'm a juice nut with a TON of flavors.) Are they my only vendor? Nope ... I have about 5 more that I order the same amount from religiously as well, but I'm in love with the flavors I do order.

As for the aftertaste, as I said, I didn't get that with MBV at all. I know what you're talking about though, as I DID get it from Alice in Vapeland at first, which went away completely with steeping and I now love several of their flavors; and also got it from another vendor I won't name, as that taste NEVER went away with several weeks of steeping. *shudder*

Oh, and if I matters, I use 50/50 exclusively if given a ratio choice.

I haven't had this issue with my MBV liquids, but I have run into it with a particular local vendor. After trying multiple flavors (sweets, savories, fruits, coffees) and letting some of them steep for 2 or more weeks, I've come to the conclusion that it's their base. Every thing I get from these guys gives me a soap-like aftertaste. That said, they have the most flexible store hours of my local vendors, and their battery prices are good in a pinch so I think of them as an emergency-vape shop (they're also the closest to my house, lol).

I have 14 juices from them and 4 more on the way. Some of them do have that weirdness, some just need steeping and only a couple were amazing right out of the box. To me, it seems the more complex the flavor, the more it may need to steep or the chance it gets an off flavor that wont ever go away.

Also for me, if I don't like it out of the box, generally, not going to like it at all. It may need to steep but if there isn't that hint of, hey this could be great in a few weeks, then no matter how long it takes, not gonna do it for me. I've got a peach juice from a vendor that gave me the shivers (in a bad way) the first time I tried it. 3 weeks later? Even smelling it makes me queasy. So I get that some juices are funky, but I think sometimes you just know, if you can steep the funk off or not.
