All I ended of doing was soaking it in hot water, with a bit of dawn for about 15 minutes. Then I picked each piece up, scrubbed it with a q tip, and rinsed the crap out of them with hot water. NO MORE NASTY TASTE!

Ain't it great when a plan comes together!

Though it has made me realise I don't get much flavor from this rda lol.

Ah, the Dark Horse isn't really known as a flavor setup. You can try pinching back the airflow and dialing down on the power (unless you're on a mech), but it still won't compete (IMO) with something like a Magma or a Veritas. I've also read (on Reddit) that the Derringer has really good flavor.

Ive never had ANY oil on a new rda. I guess im lucky. I inspect amd smell them and havent ever noticed/smelt a drop.

Anyways if your out of organic cotton just use a normal cotton ball Til you get around to getting more KGD or OC. If your so inclined you can boil them a couple times. Taste isnt as good as kGD but its barely there.

Aside from my very first vape, I clean them all, regardless. Just to be on the safe side. I've gotten some REALLY clean-looking (and smelling) atomizers, but it makes me feel better.

The little bit that would be on there wouldnt cause any harm so i dont bother with cleaning it. If it was noticeable by sight or smell then yes i would. To each there own.

Exactly. As long as it makes you happy and keeps you off the smokes, have at it!
