Funky taste to Crystal Liquids

Anyone else notice this? There seems to be the same underlying taste to all of their flavours. SmokeFX, One of my local B&M's, deals exclusively in crystal liquids and after sampling a bunch of them in the shop I noticed that they all have this strange, plastic taste for lack of a better explanation. I picked up 10 mls of their Summer Berries liquid because it had a nice aroma and the strange taste wasn't as prominent but after a couple days its all I can taste. Strange, synthetic taste.
Anyone else experience this? It's too bad because I like the shop and the staff a lot better than the e-steam kiosk at the mall, and the vapementally challenged staff they have working there, but I really like all of the liquid I've gotten there, which is by flavor crafters or juicy clear. I prefer to buy my liquid in person as opposed to online as I get to sample everything before I buy it. The prices may be a bit higher but I like to know what I'm buying, and getting to walk away with it and not have to wait for it in the mail satisfies my need for instant gratification.

Do they sell pre steeped ejuice or freshly mixed? Taste should not change that much in a few days either way however.
What device(s) are you using? Cartos in a tank can taste different than ones not in a tank. Cartos, bottom coil tanks such as Evods cause juice to taste different. Using different Ohm coils ,different voltages or watts will change the strength of the flavor.

Your taste buds can fool you, often changing flavors for awhile then going back to a prior one will make it taste very different. I have some flavors which I enjoy enough to be all day vapes however most days I vape several or more to kept the flavors fresher to my senses.

Using both top and bottom coil, mostly evods and protanks for bottoms and vivi nova or CEX for tops, on ego, 510, and powertube VV devices. I've tried a bunch and purchased 2 (mango and summer berries) and the same underlying flavour seems to permeate them all despite the flavour or the device used. I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this about this particular brand. Maybe I'll try steeping them. Of course, that means I have to UTFSE and figure out how to do that now..

Crystal E-Liquid is sold in Green Glass Bottles, there is no possibility of any plastic bottle leeching.
Please try changing filling a new cartomizer with the liquid and trying the flavor.
