If tough is defined as a lack of fear of gunshots and thunderstorm then the answer is an unequivocal, "Yes". Duce becomes a shaking quaking mess for three days around the 4th and, also, at the first sign of a barometric pressure drop when the leaves are green.

Nothing phases my Em inside the house but she still looks over her shoulder if she hears a train when out walking.
