Some feedback on my initial purchase with FV.
Ordering
Web site is a bit too busy for my liking but gets the job done. I didn't experience any slow down or timeout. Check out process was straight forward. Only issue I have with the ordering is lack of
support for Paypal. I make all my vape gear purchases using paypal and would love to see this supported.
Order status and notification
Made the order on Saturday (Esterigon Launch date). Received confirmation email immediately. Next day, received "order processing" email. This was followed by "Shipping" email on Tuesday. Received the mod on Thursday. Overall, status and notification were
smooth and handled quite well.
Only minor glitch was the posted
tracking link didn't work and had to manually extract the tracking number.
Shipping
This would have been the biggest benefit of having a distributor within the state and it has proven to be pretty effective. I am not a big fan of USPS (had my shares of issues with them) and would be nice to see a support for
UPS or FedEx. For this order, priority mail did delivered the mod within two days.
Packaging
The mod came with bubble wrap and shipped in a standard USPS box. Hard box kept the mod untouched and everything came in a
perfect condition.
Cost
Overall, FV was about $17 cheaper mainly due to the shipping cost. Cost of mod itself was pretty much same minus a difference in exchange rate at the time of order. Hence, the cost difference
wouldn't be much for large order.
Overall Experience
I can tell there were lots of preparation went in for the Esterigon launch. From ordering to receiving, everything was
very smooth and without any issues. While the long term service quality is still need to be seen, but I am quite impressed with the initial purchase. It is good to have local options especially for parts and even mods.
