@duc916 noticed your screen name, do you ride? Also noticed you are in NorCal, I moved to Texas from Sac. Texas is cool but I really miss home and the riding community up there.

Yeah, still have the Ducati 916 ('97)... but don't ride much anymore. Hard to believe it's a 20 yr old bike now. It might being anemic by today's superbike standards, but the Tamburini-era desmos are the sexiest.

I'm an R1 guy, have had too many to count but I have always loved and admired the Ducs. Have been riding since '85, first "sports" box was a '89 Katana 750. I know what you mean it seemed like sometime around 2001 all the superbikes lost about 150lbs and gained 50hp. Crazy. Makes me shudder when I see a nub get a liter bike as their first bike.
