I love it, but I still think my idea is better for a long term solution. But I am not gonna lie; I am glad you were able to do it. Kind of curious if it holds up. Heck I want one.........this is why I am always broke, I need to get a new lathe.

This is the test fit I am waiting on the real o-rings to come in, it will have four total o-rings, two stacked on either end. The middle piece applies pressure to the o-rings that inturn apply pressure to the ends of the pyrex. The orings I choose are the flat and X pattern orings so in a sense they act as a heat expansion and shock buffer to the pyrex. But maintain a seal so fluid does not leak out :) I will be doing the freeze heat test on it and of course the drop test. Wish me luck :)

But it's huge. I need a small one:) Hey but I love that drip tip HEHE.

Yeah yeah... was starting big, this may end up small, I like that tip too hehehehe

w00t!!! Is that a top coil genny??? A cross only on one side is enough I think...

Yes is a top coil genny, hey I was trying different pattern designs rather than straight lines :)

Similar, but no acrylic tank, center post for pos power, body acts as neg, 4 orings, screws instead of silver wire and it can be dissasembled for cleaning.

I suspected as much that you would be coming up with such a design. This is really awesome! Pyrex for durability, body as negative for simplicity, easy dis-assembly, screw posts, ... Please sign me up for 2.
