I am just reading the ENTIRE thread and realized that "dt" meant drip top (not drip tip-as I'd thought).

I'm very meticulous in my methods and have my own mill and lathe....so I suspect this will be right up my alley. We shall see. I have high hopes.

Now that the co op is officially closed, I think it is time for me to buy some SS mesh. I have 15 ft of nicrome wire, I know kathal is preferred but I can use what I got.

Dan will be coming out with a video on assembly. But all you should need is some SS mesh an wire to make the coil.

I got a question about the 325 vs 400:

What does the 400 and 325 TH feel like in comparison to a DC 1.5V on a 3.7 IMR ~ or other 3.7 18650 for that matter?

325 mesh's TH hits harder than DC 1.5v on IMR with 18mg nic juice. But then... nic amount affect TH more than mesh count. 400 mesh have finer mist of vapor though.

Dan, thank you so much for doing such an excellent job on this. Any chance there will be a first wave of "No assembly required" shipments prior to sitting down and starting assembly? If not, I can always wait. Don't want to make more work for you.

Well I have already ordered the 4 main components that make up the bottom, so they should be in before the rest of the tops and tanks, so I will probably have them assembled before the rest get here. But if not I will ship the unassembled ones first. Depends on how the parts come in.

The BFG is also a awesome drip only atty to. It rocks on the Reo's I love love mine.

I'm in for one of those too. If KC says it rocks thats good enough for me. I love dripping the best.

In the midst of eveything going on today, guess what got installed
They came at 9am and were here two hours installing it.
My charging station for my Nissan Leaf that comes in next week!!! Yay me!

really interested to know what the power consumption and monthly costs on your electric bill will be. i love the idea of a fully electric vehicle since driving in L.A. about 2-3 hours a day in traffic SUCKS. i have a vw tdi (clean diesel), and i got a huge bump in MPG, but i want more!

congrats on a new, super clean and high tech car dan! keep me posted.

emachineshop software threw up a lot of complaints about slight radius' i needed to add and other nitpicky stuff so im trying to rethink the design a bit. thanks again for your help and suggestions. i gotta get back to it tho, my day job is taking WAY too much time away from the important stuff

You can't compare ss with anything else, on a DC your vaping burning cotton diapers. Once you graduate to ss you won't go back. TH is mostly nic and temp. Each coil is different a little more or less wire, wrapped a little tighter, coils farther apart, all this thing are variables in vaping and 325 or 400 is just another variable, all effect taste and TH. Just enjoy le difference and remember how boring analogs were.
