It is reading virtually no resistance so something is wrong. I'd start by looking at the gold pin in the 510 connection of the atty. it should extend down just past the threaded housing it is in. It sometimes has a slot and can be adjusted down if necessary but we're talking a small fraction of a turn, very small. Then I'd be looking at the coil to see if there was anything obviously wrong with it and also trying a replacement.

hi everyone, m currently using g150 and tried to change the atomiser with the one provided in box. after installing it there is a error on screen "short atomiser". Any clue whats wrong with it?
Welcome and glad you joined.
Could also try three additional avenues of inquiry:
Local vape shop -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or replace or advise (any authorized distributor).
Manufacturer contact ---see if they will repair or replace or advise.

It may be as simple as turning your coil one more turn. I don't love making my vape equipment super hard to unscrew, but with coils, you really have to screw them in quite tightly. I too have gotten the "check atomizer" warning, and once, it was a bad coil, the second time, I had not screwed the coil in tightly enough. With new coils, I now check to see if it's going to fire before I refill my e-juice, having to waste it on fixing problems. I need to go get me one of them injector kits to suck the 0.8 ml of juice out of my tank, for sure! I just hate wasting juice and a vape shop near me sells them for a dollar, roughly the cost of emptying that juice down the sink and fixing the problem.... I've realized now that my box just needs a really tight coil screw to register.... If that doesn't work, the other suggestions are a great idea.

'Short Atomiser' seems to suggest a shorted connection - in other words, a direct connection &/or one with a far too low resistance.

'Check atomiser' is the usual error message when it can detect *no* resistance.

Have you tried putting the old atomiser back in there and see if it's reading the resistance correctly?
