G6 Battery Manual vs Auto

Let me start by saying I love the Triton, it is what I use at home. Having said that I am still weary of using it in public and prefer to use my G6 in the car, at work and in social settings, it's easier to explain to non-smokers and smoker's can see it as an alternative. As my 19 year old came home Thursday with a friend. He asked "What is that?" My son said "Oh that's my mom's crack pipe!" I in a shocked tone I explained everything to my son's friend and lectured my son on not saying things like that. LOL They were kidding with me of course and my son is proud that I'm stopping smoking. Have I told you I live in teenage hell with a 18 & 19 year old boys plus their 20+ friends that call me mom. I have teenagers spend the weekend all the time the worst weekend we had 26 teenage boys here playing X-Box wars in 4 rooms with cords everywhere connecting them. Anyways e-cigs just haven't been seen or known about around here. I am in virgin territory being the first e-cig user around here. It is important to me not to glamorize e-cigs to these teenagers but I also want to be encouraging to my smoking friends. It's a balance I'll have to find.

Sorry for the ranting.........My question is which do you prefer the Manual G6 or the Automatic G6. I can't make up my mind but I think I get more flavor and vapor off the manual battery. I am using the mini tanks not cartomizers. I know some of my questions are just simply YOUR preference but I like to know why YOU prefer one over the other. It will help me to answer my friends questions and hopefully ease their journey into stopping smoking with some shortcuts I can help create for them. Halo is a wonderful company and has wonderful products. I already have some friends I see that would prefer the G6 and some men that right out of the starting gate would prefer the Triton. Some I already know would be complete modders. LOL Some men just love to tinker!!

Sorry to hear about all the kids hang out at your place. Sounds like you got a full house often.

I always liked the auto, but I did have to give it a "primer puff" so the real hit was fulfilling. I do like the manual, but I was using it to ween off stinkies so the auto was better for that. I wouldn't worry about using your triton in public. If someone has/had a problem with it, oh well, that's their issue. Now that I have my triton I take it every where. I've seen some modding, I'll wait til I get more into vaping before I look at any of those. There are some really cool looking ones out there. I seen one on you tube that was a 50 cal bullet!

All in all, use what you like. As long as it keeps you away from stinkies!

I've had auto cig-a-likes, but the auto function started acting oddly after a month. Moving to the Triton had its learning curve, but I've come to appreciate the manual function. As it turns out, while Auto is available on larger battery systems, they're not really designed for it. Auto is primarily a cig-a-like feature.

So my advice, if you're considering an Auto cig-a-like, is to get one from a vendor that offers a lifetime warranty.

They are tricksters!! I've had my wifi changed to say "FBI Survellance Van #4" or "Porn Network". This is what it says asking if you want to join the network. The FBI one freaked me out for a minute! They've reprogrammed my phone from Changing names like "Mom" to "My Precious Queen" or "Dad" was changed to "Sperm Donor" and my ringtones for my husband was changed to Enrique Iglesias the Explicit version that says "Tonight I'm F-ing you!". They told me you can get free samples of puppy treats by calling 1-800-My-Puppy, which it is NOT!!! Needless to say there is always something going on at my house. LOL Their favorite thing is to pat me on the head and say "She's cute when she's mad." Like I'm not there. They all range from 6 foot - 6 foot 4 inches tall and I'm 5'4" if my posture is perfect!

One way to get back at them is with food... Lack there of, or only veggies... But then again I would prefer that my kids (22 and 20 girls) stayed home with their BF's so I could keep an eye on them.

That's why I allow so many kids over, I know what their doing and with whom. It's funny but most of the kids would rather come to my house than go out to the movies or do something stupid like a bunch of the other kids. Plus I film the Friday night football games. since my son plays football and 1/2 the team comes over to watch it and rag each other. It's lots of fun!! The biggest weekend they borrowed the teams gatorade drink thingy, and had me fill it with 6 gallons of sweet tea and I made a 12 quart stock pot of Taco Soup plus 3 bags of chips and buffalo wings. It was gone in less than an hour. I can't afford to feed that many kids so they usually give 5 bucks toward food, drinks, movie & game rentals. I am very blessed they are a good bunch of kids. So far the only thing I've had damaged is MY son in a fit over and X-box game threw the T.V. remote at another boy and it stuck inside the wall.

I have a friend I'm trying to convert too. I tell her that eCIGS are not cigarettes and not to think of them as an electronic version of smoking. The reason is the sensation is obviously not the same. I also tell her, to alternate between smoking and using ecigs until she figures out how to vape.

I'm considering selling my Triton to her because its a 450 battery and I want a VV, but she is not ready yet.

I am very much against the term e-cigs. I think we should distance ourselves from this connection. I tell people when they see my Triton, this is for vaping. I vape. Oh, it also has nicotine. I enjoy it.

I'm going to sell my 650 Triton as well, as I now have a pair of 900VV. My neighbor is interested. I'll give her a great deal!!

Wow! a house full of teenage boys! Ahhhh, don't that bring back....er,um...yeah, well getting to your post Evie, I used to prefer the G6 for the very reasons you mentioned, but the Mighty Triton has stolen my heart, and weakened my resolve. Plus, I vape so much, that the cartos I use on the G6 just weren't doing it for me. My entire family thinks I'm on crack now, and no amount of explaining will convince them. They kid with me all the time about it. Yet I chose the G6 Saturday night to go to my husband's company Christmas party bcuz I just didn't want to be bombarded with a lot of questions about what the Triton was. A lot of ppl thought my G6 was some european cig! lol So yeah, I hear what you're saying. Hopefully pretty soon ecigs will be so common, everyone will know what they are and we can vape in peace!! lol

i prefer the Manual G6, no chance of a windy day setting it off and i can prime each drag before hand or do a few dry burns on mini-tanks if i think some juice is gunking it up.

i dont take offense, i rarely have any good points or seriously helpful advice what with my inclination to be sidetracked by the simplest of random thoughts such as 'why is my coffee cup so huge? and why didn't anyone help me carry it from the coffee shop to my office?!? they saw me struggling! it needs wheels! seriously, this thing is stupid huge! but i gotz to haf my peppermint latte!"
