I have burned up two halo g6 mini tanks after just a couple of fills. Not sure what I am doing wrong with them. I have one that seems fine and I have used it quite a bit. All halo juices, longhorn in one and midnight apple and then tribeca in the other one. Anything I should be avoiding to do? Waiting longer between hits? Shorter drags etc.

I don't use the minis, I use the Triton, but it sounds like it could be a couple of different things.

Shorter drags really helps.

Some juices tend to gum up wicks/coils faster than other. Voodoo is pretty tough. Tribeca and midnight apple are easy. I haven't tried Longhorn long enough, but it seemed smooth.

If you ever move up to Triton, you'll enjoy a battery that lasts much longer, and a tank with replaceable coils (which makes them easier to clean). You'll loose the automatic feature though.

The G6 mini-tanks have fairly short wicks so once the juice level gets about halfway down they can start to dry out. I've gotten in the habit of tilting mine and rolling them to make sure the wicks stay wet. I refill when they're half empty.

I do the same thing. I absolutely love the hit I get with my G6 tank and never wanna go back to cartomizers. Along with everything ckmeyers said I also completely rinse mine out about once a week and dry it with a blow dryer. I can get weeks and weeks of use from one tank.

Do you drink out of the same glass day after day without cleaning?

Maintenance:
Light e-liquids Clean very 3-4 fills
Dark liquids - Clean every other fill

If top wick increase tipping action

Wicks and coils do not burn........unless a coil is shorted.
They accumulate burnt e-liquid which needs to be removed.

Check YouTube for some good Clearomizer cleaning videos.

I took one of them apart and where tje coil wraps around the stock silica it looks very burnt. I tried cleaning the other one I let it sit in a bowl of hot water for a while, swished it around blew it out, let it dry and it tastes like crap and hardly produces vapor, this was the one with the longhorn in it which is dark and gets kinda thick .

I think I saved it, I started flicking it with my finger and I might have knocked loose some gunk or something as its starting to taste better still not producing great vapor but it is def better. Mabe I should wash it out again ?

I'm also a noob and getting frustrated trying to get this whole vaping thing to work so I don't go back to analogs (ok, nico w/draw is getting to me..can u tell?) I first bought the Halo G6 w/18 mg torque cartos. First couple of draws, very nice TH and flavor. But like most cartos it kind of wears away fast. After I went to a local vape shop and tried the other style vapes, I loved the Th, flavors and experience with the tanks, clearomizers and all the other bells and whistles.

I then went ahead and ordered from Halo the Mini Tanks for G6 and the Trition 400 mAh. I got my Mini Tank today, filled it w/Cafe Mocha 18 mg and tried it out. I'm so disappointed!!!! It has a horrible burnt taste..I mean it is awful!!!!!! Is it possible i overfilled or why is it taste burnt??
Then tried the Triton w/18 mg Torque and it was blah. The carto had more flavor than the Triton. Any help out there? What am I doing wrong? The Mini tanks/Triton are BRAND NEW right out of the package. So I wouldn't assume I need to clean a brand new tank and not sure why the Triton has zippo flavor for an 18mg Torque. I thought Halo had a great reputation but maybe not so much on hardware? Thx for any help
