There is no need to pressurize a tank. Providing sufficient ventilation to prevent vacuum locking is enough if you use a wicking material with suitable capillary action.
Lurk.... Agree....Lurk

What size did you order? Hope you have bought the 3mm OD x 2 mm ID - the wall is thinner than the 3mm OD x 1mm ID...
And the shipping is not free; it is calculated at time of shipping. Others have said it has cost $20.00 from some other suppliers...
I wonder if Guiness has any records for vaping yet?
Seems like what we need is a means of producing positive pressure within the tank itself.. Im almost willing to bet that if you are able to drill a couple of tiny holes at the top of a center post, that will introduce air into a tank as you take your puff, capillary action would force fluid up a thin enough pyrex tube where it could be safely heated by the coil and vaporized.
So, has anyone in Canada ordered glass or quartz yet?
Yeah I did last week, but I have yet to hear about the order...will they ship it free w/o further comm, will they seep through their mail and finally answer with a mail quote...anyways,I will have enough for us all if it gets through, min quantity is like 4 feet (unless it gets here in tiny pieces!)
I will send you money for some when you get it. I would love to try this, was thinking of ordering some this week. Let me know if this is workable as I don't want to break any forum rules.

I came across this site tonight, QUARTZ TUTING Might be worth sending them an e-mail but I suspect that they are looking for customers who want to purchase a ton of the stuff.

Heck if I know ..."QUARTZ TUTING" is that a technical term?
Either way,$10 each is a steal
