Man went through a ton of this thread and finally decided just to post a question.
If I don't run it temp mode I've dry burns quickly. I'm using bar minimum wick when building but can not get this thing to wick well.
I do not get leaks but do get the bottom seaping creating the ring when I remove the tank.
I've had all geek vape rta minus the original Ammit even the coil art Azorath triple coil that just came out and no issues with dry burn on any of them.
Not sure what I'm doing here that this thing will not keep up with the juice that is being vaped.
Using fused claptons 2 26 wire wrapped in 36 all SS made some 2 28 wrapped in 36 last night going to try those as well. Think I used the 3.5 jig from coil art also.
Any tips?
I'm going to guess and say it's your wicking technique. But if you post a pic of your build, we'll be able to better assist you, without guessing. If it's not that you have too much wick, it may be because you're not thinning/combing out your wicks. But again, a pic would help us help you.

As far as the seeping issue, you won't be able to fix that. That's not your fault - it's the press-fit deck that is the issue (according to Geek Vape). You can write to them and inform them of your issue, and they might send you out a new deck, but that likely will not fix the issue.

Thanks. I could send a pic of it now but it would be all juiced up.
Think a fresh wick with no juice pic would be better?

Mine seems to do best with wicks pretty tight through the coil. With 3.5mm ID you should feel a good bit of resistance while pulling the cotton through, then thin the tails so that they just fill the wick channels. If you've got the right amount in the coils themselves it shouldn't be easy to get it to dry hit, even if you stuff the wick channels a little too much.

Made some new coils this time with the 2 28 gauge wrapped in 36 gauge all SS. Spaced my wraps and it is wicking way better. If I go above 80 watts it will start to dry out after about 3 puffs. But I usually don't vape that high anyways.
Also contacted geek vape today sent them my info let's see if they will replace the base for me.
Hopefully better customer service than coil art.

Just a heads up for anyone else with the tank leaking at the bottom.
Contacted geek vape they requested photos of my build, authentication sticker on the box and were it was leaking from and they are sending out a new base.
Very easy to work with their customer service team. The online form will not work so you may need to call them. Would not let me upload a photo and you can not create a case without it.
But I had no hold time when I did call in and the person I spoke to was nice and clear on what they needed to determine if a replacement would be issued.
