Heh. That is a subject you will find little consensus on. Particularly the wicking. It ranges from dime store cotton balls to wild vape specific wicking types. The biggest contending groups seem to be:

“ I can’t tell any difference between one and the other, cotton balls are cheapest”

“A Scottish roll is your best bet. KJD cotton”

“Rayon bought from a beauty supply store is best!”

“ NO. NO! My special blend of hemp fiber and exotic tree barks is the best ever!”

Who knows? Myself I’m mostly in group 1 but am likely to try group 2 or 3 when my current supply runs out. I’m not known for my fine sense of taste though. This is one where your mileage really may vary a lot.

Buying an rta, but not making your own coils? Must be those crazy coils perhaps? I seen some that if I were into them, I would probably buy as well, but regular round coils aren't hard to do...I'm a rayon guy, but regular ... cotton not to different....if you have a Sally's beauty supply, you can get a lifetime supply for like 15 bucks, its cellurayon

By pre-made, I assume you mean coils ready to install in an RTA

I used these and other precoiled in the creed. These fit fine. Are .5 ohm and 316L SS. Plenty others fit. Depending on what you want there are .8 ohm or 1 ohm Kanthal coils that work fine too. Just need on that fits okay on the deck
