Geekvape Aegis X button sticking

My vape buddy purchased a Geekvape Aegis X at the local vape shop one week ago. The fire button began sticking (no e-liquid was spilled) in the last 2 - 3 days. This shop does not do returns.

Anyone have any ideas what my friend can do?
