So what's everybody using to wick this badboy? I've just tried a JOC sheet so far. Going to rewick with some bacon tonight. Anybody try SS mesh?
I'm rolling rayon. Not sure a U shaped mesh wick can be built for a horizontal atty like this. And even if it could, have huge spaces between wick & hole to dump your juice all over.
how does the flavor compare to the geekvape griffin?
Interested to know too, sitting on the trigger of ordering a griffin! Compared to bellus, a single coil in the avocado blows away a dual coil bellus in taste, clouds, and airflow.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought too, if one were to try it, vertical coils would most certainly be in order.

I'm probably going to try rayon next, the bacon is working well enough for now.

I'm so ready to buy this but I have the haze clone & with only 2.4ml I find myself filling it constantly. How is the larger "tank" of the Avocado working out for you guys? The flavor on the haze is excellent so I figure it would be the same with the Avocado which is why I am more than intrigued.

I got my replacement yesterday and from what little I've used it I can tell you it guzzles liquid, I had been warned about it and maybe less once I get the hang of wicking it

I'm running mine at .5 at 25 watts, 24g kenthal. I've been going through about 30 ml every 2-4 days. It's about the same as dripping honestly on juice consumption. I have noticed nothing guzzles juice like my crown tank though. Lol

Anyways, I need to rewick my avocado but I'm moving from Dallas to Nashville atm and the avocado is packed away. So I got the juice guzzler crown tank with me.

My thoughts on the Avocado:
-I think it looks fantastic. Very unique and nothing like my other RTAs and drippers.
-Not liking it very much for single coil, mostly due to the airflow. Wide open is too much air, one hole is way too little. I tried everything in there, 24 and 26 gauge, clapton, alien, etc. Scorched flavor, just not good.
-Dual coil is where it really shines. Wide open it's fantastic. I have dual 3mm 24 gauge Anarchist wire at .25 ohms. Dripper-like flavor. I'm pretty much in love with it. Very dense. Its just phenomenal. By far better and more satisfying than the Griffin or Crius.
-Should have a dedicated fill port. It's not hard by any means to fill with dual coils, but its definitely not ideal.
-Comes apart piece by piece making it extremely easy to clean.

I'm surprised with how leak resistant this Avocado is, given its general design I figured it'd leak on it's side or in my pocket, but thus far, that has not been the case. Used it at work in my pocket all day a couple times this week without issue, and last night I purposely laid it on its side with a paper towel under it, and nothing, not a drop.

Like my Advocado's with the Vt40. Nice and stealthy!
