Need help from former MFS (MyFreedomSmokes) customers
Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?
It is amazing!
If the ring is not necessary I wonder why GeekVape went to the time and effort and expense to install it. I've tried without it and experienced massive flooding. I even tried installing the cotton down into the channels a little bit and immediately was getting dry hits using my thick 100% VG juice. Using the ring and my cotton properly installed just barely touching the deck covering the juice wells I have yet to experience a leak or a dry hit even chain vaping at 80w....I presume you are referring to removable ring on the deck. Yeah, it is not a necessary feature.
I've installed Clapton wire in my Subtank MiniThe only tank I've rebuilt before was the subtank mini. I guess perhaps the major difference was that I bought some Clapton wire.
Lol@smacksy 3 deep lung hits and you're good for 1/2 hr? That means I'm vaping too much and don't know how to control myself![]()
When you tried using it without the ring, did you make sure that your cotton did not get caught in the threads and shift out of place? If the ring its not necessary I wonder why GeekVape went to the time and effort and expense to install it. Nope.. I mean it works great for me stock (I believe if it's not broke don't fix it).. between my two Griffins I vaped over 250ml of juice so far the past week..no leaks, flooding or dry hits...[emoji12]When you tried using it without the ring, did you make sure that your cotton did not get caught in the threads and shift out of place?
I have once forgotten to place the ring back on and did not experience flooding. In all other occasions I have used the ring though.
I don't experience anything like that.. something must be wrong with me..Lol
For me 3 hits and I'm good..
4-5 hits I get the tingles..
5-6 hits and I break out in a sweat..
7-8 hits and I get dizzy headed..
But a half hours space makes it all good to start over again, lol

Sorry buddy. Did you forget to comment or was there something funny/stupid I said?Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
I've always kept an eye on the cotton in the juice channels when screwing the barrel back in. If there is any resistance the cotton is catching into the the threading. The last few times I rewicked my Griffin, it has not been catching in the threads; henceforth, my statement about the ring not being a necessary feature. Now that I've put that out there, I'm sure next time something will go wrong and I'll bite my tongueYea, thaz what happened when I tried sans ring.
I view the ring as tucking your shirt in .

Well these days I'm vaping all the time it seems, especially kicked back here at home. .... since getting the Griffin and the RX 200 I've been vaping a lot more on the go out and about in my truck. The RX fits like a glove in my center console, staying put even as I zip around town....Long batt life goes for days on a single charge too, but I do take a extra100ml bottle of juice for refills on those long rides...[emoji14]Oh dear, I wish I kept track of how much I'm vaping.. but I'm afraid the figures will shock me..
I always carry extra batts too! Just because I can!
