I can't get over the flavor with the Griffin! Amazing! I'm gonna have to drop my nic a little. I DIY eliquid and just dropped from 9 to 7,but I'm gonna have to take it down a notch with this beast. It's just awesome!

For my two Griffins on the left I had to drop my nic to 2.5mgs..3 deep lung hits and I'm good for about 1/2 hr, [emoji106]

I bought the tfv4 at the same time as the griffin, the tfv4 came first.

I was impressed with the smok tank, not so impressed with how hot it got, the coils/RBA option and the liquid consumption.

The griffin is better. Just one evening of this is enough. Easier to build, easier to wick (!) flavour is the same and better with some of my liquids, less heat and it looks better.

No leaking issues and it wasn't hard at all to wick. The only tank I've rebuilt before was the subtank mini. I guess perhaps the major difference was that I bought some Clapton wire.
I really like this tank, better than subtank and definitely better than the smok, which I can't see myself using after the two coils in the box run the course.

Thumbs up!

I presume you are referring to removable ring on the deck. Yeah, it is not a necessary feature.
If the ring is not necessary I wonder why GeekVape went to the time and effort and expense to install it. I've tried without it and experienced massive flooding. I even tried installing the cotton down into the channels a little bit and immediately was getting dry hits using my thick 100% VG juice. Using the ring and my cotton properly installed just barely touching the deck covering the juice wells I have yet to experience a leak or a dry hit even chain vaping at 80w....

@smacksy 3 deep lung hits and you're good for 1/2 hr? That means I'm vaping too much and don't know how to control myself :(
Lol
For me 3 hits and I'm good..
4-5 hits I get the tingles..
5-6 hits and I break out in a sweat..
7-8 hits and I get dizzy headed..
But a half hours space makes it all good to start over again, lol

When you tried using it without the ring, did you make sure that your cotton did not get caught in the threads and shift out of place?

I have once forgotten to place the ring back on and did not experience flooding. In all other occasions I have used the ring though.

Nope.. I mean it works great for me stock (I believe if it's not broke don't fix it).. between my two Griffins I vaped over 250ml of juice so far the past week..no leaks, flooding or dry hits...[emoji12]

Yea, thaz what happened when I tried sans ring.

I view the ring as tucking your shirt in .

I've always kept an eye on the cotton in the juice channels when screwing the barrel back in. If there is any resistance the cotton is catching into the the threading. The last few times I rewicked my Griffin, it has not been catching in the threads; henceforth, my statement about the ring not being a necessary feature. Now that I've put that out there, I'm sure next time something will go wrong and I'll bite my tongue :p

Well these days I'm vaping all the time it seems, especially kicked back here at home. .... since getting the Griffin and the RX 200 I've been vaping a lot more on the go out and about in my truck. The RX fits like a glove in my center console, staying put even as I zip around town....Long batt life goes for days on a single charge too, but I do take a extra100ml bottle of juice for refills on those long rides...[emoji14]

Hehe, I love being able to securely position a mod in the car for easy access at stop lights and stop signs :) I like to place my mod into a cup holder and wedge in my wallet or phone (which has a leather cover on it) to keep the mod from moving about; however, I prefer using the cup holder next to the steering wheel for ease of access. Regrettably this cup holder location being slowly phased out in most cars :(

I understand that this was a serious departure from the topic. My apologies.
