In fact, I have some interesting images of Zeus rta that I would like to share, unfortunately, I don't know since when, I can't upload image (100-200K JPG) to this forum any more. Sigh!

Make sure they’re 2000 pixels or below (vertical or horizontal) if using the ECF media gallery. The media posting/proxy thing they have going on here for image posting (internally or externally hosted) is in no way straight forward or intuitive.

All my images are 1024 pixels and below.
They just won't upload...

I disagree.

RTAs are finicky to wick. Each rta has a 1,000 page instrumental language as
to how it should be coiled and wicked, none of them are for beginners.

The Aromamizer Supreme V2 is the easiest wicking RTA (RDTA they say) in the world (IMO) and just as easy as any RDA. For me dripping is a pain in the buttttttttt. The Supreme V2 gives you a very flavorful, wet vape and absolutely no hassle wicking. Great for beginners. You can use a dual coil or single coil deck on it as well.

Don’t make me buy another tank to prove you right. I just bought Kylin v2.

That's funny! Good reply!
The Supreme V2 is one of the best tanks out there IMO. No leaking, never a dry hit, multiple deck options (bought separately) and a 6ml tank that lasts most of the day. Definitely worth having in your (ever growing) collection. ;)

I agree, I have the single coil deck for it. I’m enjoying it!

I also agree & I also got the 8ml extension & ultem kit for it. I love the versatility, the quality & the support on the Steamcrave Facebook page & all the friends I have made there :)

Call me crazy and I won’t take it personally if you do. But, I begin to suspect, that the gun metal Zeus tank, is producing more metallic flavor, then any stainless steel tanks, RDAs, RDTAs, and RTAs I own or tried in the past. What ever the gun metal coating is, as juice comes in contact with the surface, the juice gets altered and produces metallic flavor.

I do like the tank, it’s a great tank, but I have 5 different juice brands, they are of different flavors and each one has variations and different levels of metallic flavor.

I have soaked and washed the tank multiple times; In 50% rubbing alcohol and various dish washing soaps. I have various brands of same wire but, the metalic taste is still there.

Think of it as drinking soda out of glass bottle or metal can, the metal alters the flavor of a soda. And that’s the Vaping experience, at least to me, with a Zeus tank.

Ah ha! Am I so lucky that I ask for a gun metal color Zeus tank and they sent me a blue one instead?

Btw, I am kind of crazily love this Zeus tank... in about two hours time, it drinks 3ml of ejuice while I chain vape with it at 35 watts. Unlike the OBS Nano, this one has absolutely no dry hits problem, man... that is my very first build... ah ha, ah ha, ... I think I am buying a third Zeus in no time.

I got a feeling I will end up buying a dozen of this tank.:thumb:

I have a silver and two gunmetal color. No issues or differences that I can detect with either ... I vape the same liquid/only one liquid, and have been vaping the same liquid daily for almost 2 years now (Bowden's Mate) - very sensitive and experienced on the flavor of this liquid and will notice immediately if something is "off". In fact, had to send a couple of bottles back at one point, I think they were made right after a previous flavor, as I could taste hints of another flavor from the same company in the liquid ... I'm thinking maybe their equipment wasn't fully washed out before producing the batch. Thankfully this has only happened once in two years.

That said, I think what @KGB87 is describing could certainly happen. Mine were pretty dirty when I first opened them ... mostly machine oil I think and what appeared to be some melting of the packaging material to the tank, perhaps during the shrink wrapping process(?) It was not exactly a metallic flavor but definitely didn't taste right ... After experiencing this on my first one, I've since boiled all of them in a dawn+water mixture for about 10 minutes, rinsed thoroughly, and boiled them again in purified water for another 10 minutes, then rinsed thoroughly again. The tanks were completely broken down (as far as they can be) in to pieces during this process.

I only use stainless steel coils standard round-wire coils, as they deliver the purest flavor for me. They are glowed/dry burned before wicking every time. I only use Temco brand stainless steel, I have noticed some off flavors with other brands (as well as different resistances than what I was expecting, usually .1 or .2 ohms) ... I get the exact resistance I expect with Temco and never any flavor issues, it's the cleanest flavor I've had with any wire material I've used so far. I've been using Temco brand for the last year and it always seems to be consistent.

I dissemble my Zeus and rinse it in warm water for about half an hour before using it, I believe that is why I taste no metallic flavor.

My blue Zeus has "not so good" quality of paint at the top fill portion and it seeps slightly at the 510 connector. However, it is still the best RTA I ever use, indeed.

I’ve been Vaping SS Kylin v2 for the past half hour and because it has gold plating, I can also taste a slight hint difference. My first tank with gold plating.

The SS Ijoy Limitless rdta, all I can taste is juice.

I have SS Velocity RDA with ss317l dual coils and I get no metallic flavor. I can vape it at 40 watts or 120 watts, and all I get is pure juice flavor.

I hate to give up Zeus, but I’ll have to contact vendor and exchange it for a different brand tank if they will let me.

As an experiment, ... don’t judge me.. I licked the outer metal( it’s gun metal) on Zeus several times and I can’t taste the metal. But when juice comes in contact with the metal, the flavor changes imho.

Here is an odd part. In the morning and in the afternoon I don’t taste metallic flavor on Zeus. But in the evening I do taste metallic flavor.
Maybe I’m just getting old and have become more sensitive then I used to be. .... That sounds more depressing then I thought it would...

i hope i do too im coming from the serpent smm which i really enjoy
I never could get as good a flavor out of SMM than I get from Nanos. Zeus flavor is better than SMM, but not as good as Nano. Haven't really played with Zeus tho. Still waiting on grubs. Think with a different build it will match the Nanos flavor wise, possibly be better.
