Geez really? TC mods purgatory

I got back into vaping last fall and with my Vapor Flask dna40 screen failing, but still working, I am liking TC with it and a few Alien 220w mods... a few because non of them lasted more than a month or two max before failing; just not turning on...
I put fresh batts, same ones, plugged in the USB, no dice.
I am a freaking dunce when it comes to electronics, I just want a plug and play TC mod I can count on... oh and one that ships USPS to Hawaii without having to wait months for delivery.
So far the Alien 220 is fine if it would last.
Any suggestions ?

I am digging the Avocado 24 rdta and Pharaoh rda. I use SS or Ni200 around 0.07 to 0.65 ohms.

Best boards currently available for TC are DNA, YiHi, and FSK. They do come with a higher price tag, but are generally more reliable (although my Alien is over 6 months old and still works fine). Others at a lower price point might come from Joytech, or the well regarded Smoant Battlestar if you like the design.
