...Any chance MB would do something similar to the Erlprinz? Manufacturer sponsored lites are really the only realistic option to deescalating the clone wars. I wouldn't scoff at spending like $100 on one of these but his price point is a bit outlandish.
O' yes, MB could do a Poly tank (instead of the current Pyrex), take away the hybrid or 510 adapter/s (give buyer the option to select one), take away the rebuilding base and take away the spare tanks (Pyrex and SS, one each) ~ and could well do a LITE for under $100 :D

I didn't get any spares, or are you talking about the extra glass tank? I think the $50 estimate might be a little off on that alone, but it's definitely a plus in my book [emoji14]

I think it's well worth the money, no doubt, awesome atty :)

Erlkonigin? Squape? Many others? That come with accessories as well? There are tons of authentic atomizers in the $100-150 range.

$250 is the statistical outlier here.
I'm the first purchaser of Erlkonigin this side of the pond (outside of the EU) ~ no accessories or spares. And price was around $150.

Rather than argue with you, I'm just going to ask you to go to a vape site and look at the price points. You're interested in poking holes, not addressing the broad strokes. You more than most people should be well aware of the median price points of kits.

I'm not here to argue with a proponent. Just to say that it's a beautiful piece at an absurd price and a lite would be a delightful idea. Folks that want the full kit and the lexus sticker will still pay the top dollar and that's fine!

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm a bit clueless about vape stuff nowadays I guess ;)

BTW folks, who all are coming in over here, for the VapeCan next week? I'll be there at the Erlkonigin stall (La VapeShop). It'd be nice to meet you folks!

And that's right. I have a browser extension that is supposed to translate currency automatically. It says $248. Maybe its thinking pounds?

But again, not trying to nit and pick. Just saying a lite version a la Erlprinz would be awesome! For both manufacturers and consumers. Wish it was a trend that caught on. Only people that lose out would be the clone companies. It's a healthier model for everyone except the slimeballs laser etching logos.

Would be interesting for someone to interview Erl about the Prinz, its profitability, and if and how it affected sales of their premiere. That conversation could be valuable to everyone.

Qorax? :)

Lmao. Clones on MB stuff? Yeah right! You get what you pay for. Only one MB item has been cloned, the chalice. The clone wasn't even a squanker. I highly doubt that the gem will be cloned and if it is, I'll feel bad for anyone who owns one. MB put a lot of quality and pride in his products so pay for it or move on.

Ps. Try to Google for a WAE or WE clone.

Gah, so again, read the post before responding please? Clones are bad for the inventors, the manufactures, even the consumers as we all know. Erl tried something interesting with the Erlprinz. It's a model where everyone wins, at least in theory. Would be neat to see if it worked and if its a model that can be successfully used going forward to undermine the greaseball clone companies making shoddy work while simultaneously increasing original manufacturer market share.

It can be both, and it can be both while keeping money away from the companies that operate under a problematic and dubiously legal business model. Those guys need to start losing, and innovators like MB can win bigger. That's the point.

Whatever. Was trying to be productive but people won't grasp the bigger picture here and seem to assume I'm saying the polar opposite of what's been written. That's fine.
