I never really thought funerals were important, but I changed my mind. It can be very cheap and I don't have to be there, but I want one.
My kid's funeral was spectacular. It changed people's lives.

Could be, though I was amazed at the people that showed up for Colin. We didn't publish an obit, word of mouth brought in in excess of 200 people. This is for a man that never worked, never spoke, spent most of his life in two or three places.

I always had a tendency, to make friends with people a great deal older than me. It never dawned on me, that some day, I would be the only one left. Life is funny....

I always tend to make friends with people who.....ok, even I can't pull this off. I have no friends. I try to make friends I really do. Apparently not many people like a curmudgeonly practical joker who thinks getting drunk and putting dog shyte on their pillow is funny. My wife says its not funny but more people might think it was funny if I didn't break into their houses in the middle of the night and do it while they were sleeping. That's a hell of a way to wake up, having a grizzly bear looking dude dropping dog poop on you. The cops always laugh in the squad car when they are hauling me away. I'm not invited to block parties any more.

Yeah, but my wife doesn't like me much either. I think something is up. I always make sure when we go down the stairs that she goes first. Every time she is behind me, she pushes me, I tumble down two flights and then calls me clumsy. And when did she have those sharp iron spikes installed? She says they are a design choice but they look like something Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia would have installed in Transylvania.
