I changed a channel and got distracted. Next thing you know I am watching womens curling - Canada vs. GB. I know this sport gets a lots of crap but seriously, then you watch it and are amazed at.....HOW the hell is this a sport?!?!? I'm not saying it doesn't take skill, I'm just saying it's stupid. Did the elderly Canadians maids union get together with other maid's unions through out the world and threaten not to clean any more hotel rooms until their twisted version of shuffle board was allowed into the Olympics? Even the judges look bored. If this is going to be a sport, shouldn't we at least add some excitement by allowing some defense? What about some contact? Can we have them put on helmets and let them check each other with their brooms while the rock slides down the ice? Can the rocks have some sort of explosive attached to them so when one rock hits another it explodes?

Next topic: The Two Man Luge - the only sport where one man sits on another mans junk and can get a medal for it.
