I dont think that it was meant to be taken as a "must" I think what he was trying to convey is that a little goes a long way, and that if your coil, be it whatever one's preference, small, narrow, large or wide, that it should fit , not too snug or too loose. I gather what he means is if its too tight, there is a point where its hindering the flow and you end up with a filter effect , where your juice is being filtered thru and you get a taste.

On his atty, because its a bottom feed , you dont need much legs/ or tails as it goes directly to the coil and wick and doesnt need legs to pull it up.

I have plans to try out the cotton later on this evening, and I will try not too get too much on but enough to get it where it needs to go in the KFL and on my little Fatty V2.

I just changed out the wick on my little Fatty V2 and I got no taste, I dont know if maybe I did not put enough, but taste is muted now. Hmmm.

im still using it, and I guess its not muted, just less TH? Its odd, Im going to try it on my Odysseus , though I might have to figure out how to coil it as with the Odysseus I have to wrap the wire around the wick.

I just rebuilt one of my Odys and it works great so far. I just hope it doesnt leak. This stuff is really absorbent I know when I use wick that is too thin it will do that. As far as taste, its completely neutral. I think my first experience with this Japaneses cotton was because of the lack of taste from the wick so I thought it was different. I think we tend to get used to the taste we get used to when first starting?

I do notice less TH too and occasional coil spitting. I dont know, It might be good on my dripper like the Fatty, but on the Ody , I think I will stick to the EKOwool. I never get the juice spitting on my lip. I will give it some time so see how it goes. Its just odd, the taste is very muted, maybe its filtering out too much?

It could happen if the resistance is low enough and if its a bit too snug, a seed could get on the coil and burn. I got a slight toasty taste the first time I used it. I had double the cotton in the coil.

Ive been puffing away on it for almost a couple of hours, its good in the Fatty, but the taste is very muted. SO far on the Odysseus its good, no leaks and good wicking, same taste as the EKowool, but I have to get it almost floody to get the same strength of taste. Its good in the Kayfun which is what I will use it for exclusively. Its easy to change out cotton on the Kayfun, but not so much on the Odysseus since it has to go inside the channels and cant be just slipped out. I would have to pull the whole coil and wick out and do that over again probably daily and use up a lot more wick and cotton. Ekowool is more expensive to buy, but with being able to use the same 4 wicks for a month, it makes up for it. I like the KDG for the Kayfun better than the cotton gauze.

I thank the "buddy" that sent me some so I can see how it was like. I will be getting some exclusively for the KF, keep the Eko for the Odys. I will use the gauze or Ekowool on the Fatty. I will try it out on the Strata again, and see if using less will help with the taste I got the first time.

So after vaping like a madman , Im SOLD on this cotton. Its the first cotton that has such true taste. I have been finding everything too sweet, even no flavour 40PG/ 60 Vg. With this Ken Gen Do I have such a clean vape. Im getting more clouds too. So Now the hard task to find it in stock.

Went out to the range tonight to shoot my newest Beretta 85FS. I had to get her, the other one needed a twin. Anyways, I am not that good of a shot but on my first magazine, these are my results! I used paint to put the red in the two 5X shots since they were hard to see. She's a keeper.

Ive rebuilt a couple of my atties using the cotton, and one spits , but has great wicking and vapor, the other is good, but not as good , but does not spit. Is it because the coil is too loose/ or not enough wick material , too much juice flow?

Never had spitting with it. I do know, with KGD in my KFL+ V2(same juice/coil/etc. set up for my rolled cotton), I had to open up the air flow a bit.

When I started vaping 1 year, 6 months, 28 days ago...

I was vaping 36mg juice. Along the way, I downgraded in mg, little by little. I never really noticed a change in the 'taste'. This time, I went from 11mg to 6mg. Wow! It tastes so good! My KFL is tasting like a dripper!

Great stats. Congrats. Im close to my 2 years, quit around May 10th? I smoked a pack every 2 to 7 days, all depending. There were somedays that I smoked a pack? Im just glad I stopped. I was wheezing when I breathed in , phlegm etc. I was loosing my taste for them, cigarettes just started being really bad, popping, weird chem taste. I liked Shermans when I could find them , but they were 10 a pack? 20 years ago cigarettes actually tasted good. I could get a pack of Dunhills, Shermans, or my favorites the Japanese Sevens.

Those days are gone.

On a good point, I went to the FFL today and he had a box of "junk" ammo. I got a full box of Cor Bon jacketed HP's mis-marked as P+, a misc box of FMJ's, a box of Winchesters Silvertips and a box of mixed Silvertips and Cor Bon Glasers for super cheap! I admit to "getting a deal" being part of the thrill of life for me. It's a sickness really but it's a sickness that saves me money My wife won't go to Target with me anymore because I always fill the cart with worthless clearance stuff. I'm like "Look how much we're saving!" and she's like "Put it back, you don't need rug shampooer! We have hard wood floors!" The poor woman does suffer.
