so ive noticed after buying every single model made before i came to a reazliation and wanted to know ur guys feedback,
When u order new coils they all come the same now, the long tubed single coils once. ofcourse it said for the T3S but haha it works perfectly fine in my unitank, Protank 3, Aerotank and ofcourse T3S as well as other im sure. But ive realised it doesn't really matter because what makes the fitting at the end is the threated base, which T3S and Protank 3 and aerotank. anyone elsse noticed it? i kinda like it now that i reallized it because i can buy a 50 coil pack and will never have an issue with any of my kangertech tanks!

The threading on the coil heads is actually the same as your 510 connector. The T3s coils will fit in most kanger tanks while the protank heads will not fit the t3s. The t3s heads have a smaller lip above the threading on the heads which means the protank heads with that wider lip won't screw down all the way into a t3s, unless they changed things again.

So the single coil ProTank 2 coils will fit in a ProTank 3 and vice versa?

the new dual coil tank heads made for the aerotank and protank 3 are harder to rebuild, because the top is really tight.. these are the ones with the Thin top oring vs the old one with the thick oring..

but it's not impossible, just harder, and i've snapped off the top nob several times already. haha

so after all with enough experience nothing is impossible with the coils lol sounds like if u know what u doing it will fit anything, experimenting is the key lol i have had pretty damn good luck

You're making it hard to figure out what the question is.

You can get one coil to fit in another tank by adding extra silicone seal caps.

well u kinda anwsered it! lol its possible however, Yes what i recieved with the original protank 3 was the small tubed dual coils but i cant see them nowhere for sale what i order from FT was 1 5 pack for T3S and 1 5 pack for protank 3, THEY CAME BOTH THE SAME long tubed coils lol thats why i assume they changed something again and now its some type of universal coil ?? maybe? idk lol but u have to have the right type of base to screw it in, after purchasing most kangertech coils u can change the base from one tank to antoher fitting tank but the coils u screw pretty much going to fit any now lol
