Ok, to start off I hope I posted this in the right section. Sorry if I did not.

Anyways. Looking to upgrade from my current setup which is a Sigelie 30 Watt, Efest IMR 18650 3.7 LI-MN. High drain rechargable battery, discharge current 35 amps. Using an Aspire Atlantis Version 1 tank.

I like the tank of the Atlantis so to save money I might just keep what I have it vapes well. 30 watts is kind of low though for subohm/my style of vaping. Which is, I like to keep it a lil cloudy you know. Thats the bracket I fall into. Keep in mind I don't really know how to build very well at all yet and have only messed with it a few times, so I have alot of learning to catchup on. Ill get on youtube for that. I am looking into something like a new mod with temp control as I have never used a mod with temperature control, nor have I ever messed with nickel wire or titanium wire for that matter.

I am looking to spend the least amount of money possible. Even though I don't know about fasttech as an option if it takes more than a month.

I don't want a mechanical mod, I want to be able to control it like wattage up wattage down type of deal.

Any suggestions?

Also as far as a RTA I am very interested, but again like I said, I am not very experienced, it has been a while. I got lazy and just started buying coils for the Atlantis, lol.

Love my kango nebox it is a mod all in one has a 10ml tank and can go up to 60 watts and 500degrees it is easy to operate and u can change the wattage/temp yourself or select a preset profile and create your own profile and save it once u find your sweet spot very easy to use excellent flavor you can get one at a good vApe shop around 70$ don't know how much it is online but it is awesome hope that helped

I have heard about that mod, but I don't think it is quite my style. I was thinking more along the lines of an RTA. I also heard that the Nebox leaks. Is this true?

Sans the RTA option, a Evic VTC Mini kit would be a starting point, as it comes with a tank similar to the Atlantis and has Temp Control options in the coil department. Stepping up a little higher in the mod department, the Cuboid is very nice, has plenty of TC options including support for Stainless and custom TCR entries. Top it with a Griffin RTA tank and you'd be set to go; the Griffin uses the Velocity-style deck which is super-easy to build on, lots of YouTube videos on coiling and wicking for it.
Upgrade batteries while you're at it - Efest is not reputable for their amperage claims. Sony and LG have good batteries. I'm using the LG HG2's in my Cuboid and RX200 and they're serving well/ Wrap up with a good external charger like an Xtar and you'd be set.

Another vote for the cuboid or rx200 and LG HG2's. Between the fiance and I we have both and both perform well. I use SS wire in TC or VW.

I put a TFV4 tank on it as I wanted to mess around with rebuilding on the deck with the added convenience of being able to toss in pre-made coils if I had a bad building day. Th pre-made coils are on the more expensive side but the quad coils sure chuck clouds.

The Griffin rta looks interesting, going to have to look into it and maybe order it in secret lol.

Is there any specific webaite that offers the options listed abovefor a good price that you recommend?

For an RTA, I would recommend something with a Velocity style build deck like the Griffin, Aromamizer, Crius, etc... They are quite easy to build on. If you want something that can also use pre-made coils, there are options for that as well, but your Atlantis could handle that.

There are no 18650 batteries that are 35 amp, eFest is well known for their inflated ratings. More than likely it is actually a 20 amp CDR (or lower) battery. You can find some good info on batteries HERE

A new mod will be a different story. That comes down to wattage you want to go up to, what TC modes you want, single, dual or triple batteries, size of the mod, etc...
My best recommendation for that would be to get yourself to a local vape shop if possible and check some out. Tons of people love their RX200 or Cuboid, but YOU might not like the way they look or feel in person. I have a Smok R200 that I love, but some folks might not like it at all. I would say look at any mod that offers all three Ni/SS/Ti modes for TC, even if you never get into SS, it is there for you to try and see if you like it. More are starting to come with manual TCR modes too, so you can adjust TC for different wire types that may not have a "mode" on your mod. I know the Smoke R200, the Wismec RX200, Cuboid, and eVic VTC Mini all have manual TCR modes, I am sure there are more. Honestly I have yet to use the TCR mode, but I have it to use if I need it I guess.

Just be careful on those mods using the TFV4 as it can break your 510 connection because the pin is rather long and JoyeTech's response will be that your warranty is voided because you used an atomizer that was not made by them.

So the VTC Mini looks really nice, but doesn't have a broad range of wattage only going up to 60 watts and like 500 degrees. The cuboid looks like it has lots of wattage room. But not sure I like the look of it that much. I wouldn't mind using it but I am definately going to need some more options. I have a few weeks before I get paid the money I am going to need for a new kit so I am not in a rush, keep your opinions coming. As far as the Xtar chargers go I am going to wait until I pick the mod out before I look into those because I have no idea which one will suit me the best. The griffin looks like a good choice for me because of the deck but again, keeping my options open. Thanks for all the help thus far. Awesome prices from Douggros suggestions. Waay better than my local vape shop. See my local shop has "most" of the newer stuff that everybody is using, but everything that they have compared to prices I can get them online is like in the 20-30 $ USA dollars more at the shop. So such a big money loss going to the vape shop.

I would probably run, I say, not like hiiigh hiiigh wattage, but lets just say in a good enough area to get a warmer vape, not hot. So i would just say average. I am not the type of guy to go super high on the wattage. Im guessing like 50-60 watts average? Somewhere in that range. And as far as batterys. I love my battery life. so I would in minimum, like something that runs 2-3 batterys just so I don't have to charge as much. As far as all the mode that they are starting to offer, I am just like you I want it all, just incase I decide to change things up with the way I vape and build. I don't even know what TCR mode is about, but I want it. If its new I want it, because I won't be able to buy another mod for a while. So I am going to want to get the best I can get while I can so I can hang in with the crowd for awhile before I need to upgrade again.

Posted earlier on another thread I wouldn't buy another mod that doesn't offer settable TCR for temp control. You may not understand it (yet), but once you dive in to TC, you'll want it. :)

I completely agree, might as well because just incase I want to switch things up I know I have it. Thanks.

IPV D-2 or D3 with a Mutank....

I would rather have a few extra wattys just in case..never know if I have to crank her up. I am seeing 75 watts at the D2 and 80 for the D3. You know that just might actually be enough..but I can't guarantee that as I haven't used it yet. I am in a big bind here, lol. Shopping is hard sometimes yanno. I haven't looked at the Mutank yet, but I am going to check it out now. Thanks!

Sounds like your mod choice is getting more defined .... 2+battery with TCR. Probably less than a dozen fit this .... Cuboid, RX200, etc. Good thing is, they're fairly cheap, starting at maybe $35 or so.

Well I mean, it doesn't have to hold all of these batterys at once, but it would help for battery life. I could always just get a single battery type mod and just buy extra batterys and keep em' charged up...I could deal with that. Thanks for the help man.
