I've done a bit of DIY juice in the past; and depending on the savings may be considering doing it again.

I have some questions.

-How much cheaper is it?(Even at the best prices i have found on pre-mixed juice(about $10/50ml...and admittedly it does not taste as good as some of the more expensive juice i have bought.)

-What are the best places for cheap and reliable resources?

-What are some good starter simple recipes(I generally have preferred to vape strongly mint/menthol flavored juice in the past. I'm opened to variations.) Seems to me, like mint/menthol flavor combos are simpler then many other flavors(IE butter cream cinnamon cupcake(completely made up flavor.))

-Any other experience with your DIY vs pre-mixed are welcome.

-What is the best/most effective way to test my DIY concoctions? ATM i am vaping with my REO and a carto.

I realize there are forums dedicated to DIY; I just have come to like and trust my REO and all of it's experienced followers. You guys are as friendly and knowledgeable as anyone in ECF in my opinion.

thanks in advance.

Don't really have much experience at all with DIY at the moment. Since I only started DIY a few weeks ago and still stocking up on flavors & additives. Plus, I'm only doing one flavor at a time for now. Found out a lot of my answers here:

Personally, get most of my flavors (FlavourArt) from ecigexpress since they offer smaller bottles. So, that I can test some flavors out before getting bigger bottles:

Also, TPA has good prices as well:

Perfumers Apprentice - Professional DIY Flavors

Best way I've been testing flavors is using small glass 10ml bottles and only making about 6ml (2 bottle fulls in my mini) of juice at a time. Gives me enough to see if I really like it or not. Most others only make 1-3ml per flavor.

I haven't calculated either. I spent a couple hundred start up a few months ago and have added flavorings a couple of times. I do know I have enough supplies to last at least six months without spending any more.
I suggest roaming around the DIY sub-forum and here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/163542-reo-lovers-diy-recipes.html. Find somebody that seems to have your same taste and try a few of their recipes. I watch Str8V8ping because I know he loves Ms T's and his recipes represent that bakery goodness.
And use small bottles at first! I got over confident and made 10 two ounce bottles of untried recipes. Some are okay, some are blah, and some will end up going down the drain.
Have fun!

Can always send those juices this way Della. I'll try anything once :D

Thanks for the tips guys/gals. Thanks for the calculator link as well. I'll get busy researching here and in DIY forums.
