I posted a thread about my experience with the RN4081 known as the SE Fifty-One Trio and many other names. The post is Newbies Don't Fret. If you have one of these please read my experience and comment.

I am curious if anyone knows of a place that sells the RN4081 parts but generic, or offers a good price regardless of branding. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Sorry I can't take a "buy a different PV" tip as I don't have the money to buy a whole new setup at present.

Also who do you like for juice, I really liked this Stops Smoke (no flavor listed got if from SE) juice it's honey flavored 14mg, I bought some Colorado E-smokes (rebranded I'm sure) Marlboro 18mg. I'm not a huge fan of the Marlboro as it tastes like chocolate mint (not menthol). Any tips are appreciated.

The RN401 is a descent device, and some people here like it. The BIG problem is battery and cart life. The carts do not hold much juice, and the batteries die to quickly. BUT those are the tradeoffs for having a small (cigarette sized) device.

I got a Joye 306 as a raffle prize at a meetup. It is TINY, I kinda like it, but the cart lasts about 20 drags, and the battery dies after about 30min, so for my vaping style it is almost useless to me. I do think it is a pretty neat device all the same. amd VERY similar to your 4081.

zoid, have not seen that combo any place since most people who use the 4081 love the atties and cartos but not the short battery life

I agree...

I think since the RN4081 atty is considered to be a great atty and the 510 and KR808 cartos are now mainstream, there isn't that much demand for an adapter.

My thing is I would like all my stuff to be 510 based. I have 4 RN4081 batteries that just sit because I don't want to buy cartos for them. I would just like to put and adapter on them and use my 510 cartos instead.

why not try to swap those batteries in pif? who knows, somebody might be looking for them and has stuff you would like?

better yet, sell them to the op and get yourself some more 510s

You're right by the way, there are several different models. Over the last year, I've bought from three different places and got three different types and it's possible that some are a generic version.
If you have, or know anyone who has the ability to make a mod, go to the modders section. Even what very well could be generic version RN4081 attys that I own work a lot better on the Nicostick. The atty is what is the best about the model, they create great vapor and are a work horse.
As for the carts, get into dripping---life simplified.

I have been licking around that idea for awhile. But you know what will happen the day after I sell them of give them away? Someone will post that they found the adapter I have been looking for. ;)

zoid, i've been all over looking for an adapter for my 401s, believe me you can get pretty much all battery models to a 4081 atty but not the other way around
but you do know that the 808 cartos screw into the 4081 cartos, don't you?
which makes me believe there should be something compatible on the market but my brain does not want to co-operate this morning

I hear you...

I did notice that a KR808D-1 male thread will screw into a RN4081 battery. And it gave me hope. But then I realized that the KR808D-1 has about 1/2 the length of threads as the RN4081 does.

So what I found was that it did screw in but would not make contact with the center pole.

I toyed with the idea of using some kind of spacer but thought it would probably just short out the battery if it made contact with the out threads on the battery.

Jeffery at www.wordup.com said he thought he could get me one but that was awhile back so I don't think it might happen. You might send him an e-Mail. He might be tired of me asking if the adapter was in stock yet.
