genesis AGA T +/T2 question

hello everyone,

i plan to buy this rba but before that i have a question regarding AGA T +/T2. can somebody what is the function of the piece that i circle in red in the attach picture.

I believe I read somewhere that that post is used for a silica wick setup if ya wanna go that route. Also read you can pop it out and make a ss mesh u-wick

Pretty sure it's another way to attach the coil. Screw unscrews but, the post doesn't remove. ( easily anyway)
Has a pass through hole halfway up to thread a wire through and tighten down with the screw. I've seen it used in some U-wick setups like that.

Also, like mentioned it can be used as a way to attach silica wick. Actually that is what it's primary purpose is. The above post reminded me. Need more coffee...

Its actually just for silica wicks. Just ignore it if youre going SS mesh like most people do.

The fill screw is the one above that in your picture. Empty hole is where you put your SS wick. Screw above that is to capture your negative lead.

If you end up getting it then you wont regret it. I love mine. Good luck and I hope I helped you out

thank you for the U-shape SS mesh video. i think i want to try with silica wick first, but any tutorial on how to setup silica wick with this RBA? i cant imagine how it would look like

lol Im quick on the draw this morning! I like Todd a lot too and I dont have any trouble understanding him either. He's not PBusardo (IMO) but hes great
