I'll make this short. I've seen that many people who go to genesis atomizers often lower their nic level. Why is this? I mean I know it is due to the mesh wick or something...but does anyone know exactly why? Are you actually getting more of the nicotine when you vape SS mesh?

I vape 12mg, almost always. I occasionally vape 14mg also. I never really feel that nicotine rush, or even the feeling that I need nicotine. It's like I've completely weened myself off of it and literally only vape for the flavor and throat hit. I can vape constantly for hours on end and not get sick or feel like I've had to much or any nicotine. I used to vape carto tanks, then got into Vivi nova's, and today for the first time I've been using my DUD as my main vape. After a few pulls on it, I feel like I should sit my device down for a bit...it's very strange. I kind of think the sweet taste of the juice may be the reasoning behind this...as the taste is completely different on the SS mesh. I'm not sure really...I find it hard to believe that the nicotine itself is giving me this feeling. Does anyone have a similar experience?

TLDR: Usually vape non-stop 12mg on cartos/vivis, and I never really get the feeling I'm actually getting any nicotine---which is fine because I haven't had a real cigarette in 3 months. Been using my DUD as my main vape and I get the feeling I need to put the device down for a bit. Is it the nicotine or could it be the very sweet pure flavor?

I am down to 4 nic from 18 pre Genesis. I think it may have to due with volume of vape concentrating the nic. I can literally watch my the juice tank of my DID atomizer drop as I vape on it. When I used up my higher nic juices I started getting nausea and sweats. I am very pleased I switched to this style of atomizer and am pretty sure 0 nic will be in my future. For now 4 nic is not bad at all. I use a 6 wrap of 28 kanthal on 500 mesh at about 1.8 ohm, this generates mountains of vape with an ok TH. I vape 50/50 pg/vg for reference.

Yes, It's just that the genesis style is just about the most efficient way to vaporize juice, IMO and ultimately deliver more and "finer" vaper thus delivering more nic.

For almost 3 years I have always been at 24mg, for the first time ever my 2 most recent bottles have been backed down to 20 and I will prolly be going even lower in the near future.

You know, I hear this all the time, but I don't get it. The flavor is stronger in a Genisis but I don't feel the need to lower my nic. I've been vaping 18mg for almost three years and yes, even chain vape that in a Genisis.

Yes, its all subjective. My goal has been to decrease my nic, genesis allowed this. I am sure, had my desire been to stay at high nic level, I could have acclimated.

Thanks guys.

Now I need to decide on my next purchase. I'm trying to decide between a Z-Atty Pro to sit on top of my Provari mini, or an iHybrid (or similar hybrid). I really don't know which to settle on! These DUDs were just so I could see if Genesis style was for me, I think it's time to upgrade.

I can't speak for the DUD, but the original DID atomizer has been wonderful. Well manufactured, helpful maker, and deep knowledgeable thread to explain its every nuance. The mini DID, which I also own, on a precise 18350 mod has been a great travel companion.

I started at 36mg in cartomizers but had to drop to 5mg on my RBA. The way I chain vape I get really jittery on anything higher.

Like ricklynchcore said, you can watch the juice level drop as you vape due to the high efficiency of a stainless wick. 17 seconds after you draw, that Nicotine is in your brain. You'll know when you hit your nic limit.

go with the ihybrid. the provari is too finicky for genesis atomizers in my experience.

plus faceless is great..
