genesis wicks

I haven't had much time to read on the forum in the past several months, and last time I did there was experiments with ceramic and pyrex tubing for wicking material in genesis style tanks.

Im currently using stainless 500 mesh and just wondering if theres anything "new" and "improved" that I should be using...
